I think the main reason why Venti loves cecilias is because Venti's friend also had one on his costume and a cecilia symbol on his flag of freedom. The flower also grows where harsh winds blow and is said to represent an unbound soul. I really love little worldbuilding details like this in genshin.

Venti is definitely one of the most sus characters in the game mainly because any infos and crumbs we got about him only made us question him more. 1. a "mere" wind spirit (that sounds so insignificant but we never saw his same kind from all 4 regions we have so far, just like Paimon) became an archon? (a wind spirit made such big changes, helping overthrow Decarabian, and suddenly Andrius that always hostile and couldn't care less about humans, sacrifice his body for the safety of humans? Why the change? There have always been other gods and humans, but he was still hostile, the only difference at the time he decides to let go of his physical body was since the wind spirit is among them.) 2. His power, instead of brute force (that he can still do btw, chop off islands and mountains and yeet them out of the map, no big deal, lol) he is also mysteriously capable of "taming” and making peace to animals (the likes of Ursa The Drake - he shooed this hostile creature just by a wink, Durin and Dvalin, maybe in some degree Andrius too) and with his music he saved Xiao from Karma. With Weinlesefest Event, he has power connected to time (called forth the winds of the past), the only Archon so far that can do that. 3. He's linked with Istaroth, that's another mystery to discover. 4. The Abyss obsession of him and Mondstadt (stealing Mondstadt's book, stealing a 'treasure' from a Mondstadt child, stealing Barbatos statue, and trying to take Dvalin from Barbatos). Maybe Venti flipping Pilos Peak (Spiral Abyss) upside down have more history behind it? 5. Every other region, even the ancient civilization has some link with Mondstadt and Venti/Barbatos: Golden Apple Archipelago, obviously. Liyue and The Chasm: Venti saved Xiao, an Adepti, a creature that doesn't exist in Mondstadt and you’d think he shouldn't know much and couldn't do much to Karmic Debt (because it doesn't exist in Mondstadt), but no, Barbatos saved Xiao from it. The Chasm, or more like The Ancient Civilisation at The bottom of the Chasm, in 9 Orbs room: a mysterious letter from that place mentioned his name, like, why him, won’t name dropping other always-present & glorious Gods would make the poem grander or something? It only means that civilization is familiar with Barbatos and if I interpret the letter correctly, the people who wrote it think very highly of Barbatos power. Inazuma: He is friends with the most influential figures in the country (Yae and Ayato, Raiden too ofc, now Kazuha too), the whole thing with the letter with secret history about Inazuma Clan, he seems to know it to be involved and gave clues here and there the way he did. Enkanomiya (Ancient Civilisation, again): where we figured out his link with Istaroth in Sun and Moon. Sumeru: does anyone find it curious that Sumeru (Aranara Quest) has sooo much to do with music? Quoting Venti, he is the temple of music. Even the device (lyre/harp) we use is from Mondstadt and the original owner is from Mondstadt too, how come an item from another country have that much importance in Sumeru? During the quest, Barbatos was mentioned there too (the game really often name-dropped Barbatos in everything). (UPDATE about Sumeru glider: But this is a spoiler to Arnold so I delete it.) Tell me any other character that is so internationally involved by the game like this, only Venti (maybe Dain and Abyss Sibling, because they travel). Even for Natlan, all we know so far about Natlan came from Venti (manga), Mare Jivari an area without wind, we know that place from his story quest (why, game, explain me! Even in a place without wind, you still involved Barbatos in it). He told us the tale about ancient/primordial Gods creating the earth by sacrifice (in the manga), how did he know that, and if it was just a fiction tale, why he created that poem/tale? 6. His "Gateway to Celestia" statue, what does it mean? (This make me think about the parallel to Christianity: Father (Mom: Istaroth), Son (Venti?) and Holy Spirit (Thousand Winds/Venti original form?) and how the son (Barbatos) is the only door to heaven (Celestia). Father, son and holy spirit are one, I'm not surprised if Venti is "part of" or Nahida-fied of Istaroth. 7. He knows songs from the past, present and future. The most mind f*cked statement ever. 8. He's the one telling us about Battle Pass' tale. (With so many ancient tales he told us, I wonder how old he actually is, maybe there's another history of Barbatos before the wind spirit shape? Or maybe BP is Venti retelling us about our previous adventure. Timeloop theory?) 9. So far he's the only archon that ever mentioned anything about the strength (and that was to claim he is the weakest archon. Update, then Nahida : basically dismissed Venti's previous claim about he supposed to be the weakest). Zhongli is very blunt about Venti (and vice versa), but he never calls him anything that remotely implies that Barbatos is weak. As far as I remember, even Signora that hated him never calls him weak. Again, with the chasm mysterious letter, even the people from ancient civilisation think highly of his power, out of many gods, they wrote Barbatos power as something that could possibly saved them. 10. His second story quest, when? 11. His relationship with Dvalin. Dvalin is born from heaven (is "the heaven" means Celestia or the “true” heaven, Primodial Gods or does Dvalin has something to do with the OG 7 Sovereign Dragons?). How did they meet, and how Dvalin's so attached to him? If it really was just because of his music, then his power via music is really something else. 12. (UPDATE) More to add, from the latest Weinlesefest event, he brought back the gust of wind from the past (and show Razor his parents). Crazy. 13. His sleeping habit, why? 14. Not really related to Venti but Why Anemo/Pure Seelie is the only Seelie that can be found in the other region? Not to mention something always have anything to do with Mondstadt: 1. Gold send Durin and Albedo to Mondstadt, why? 2. Kaeya placed in Mondstadt, why? 3. So far the ancient civilization that was all underground has strong architectural similarities with Mondstadt Temples (surface). 4. The first Field Tiller came to Mondstadt, why? Even odd, with how many Abyss Orders trying to mess with Mondstadt and how defenseless Mondstadt is portrayed, so far Mondstadt is relatively...clean? (the sus one is only Dragonspine). No Karmic Energy, Dark Mud, Withering, etc, that other nation has. Maybe Mondstadt's serious problem will be uncovered in the future expansion area? Isn't it weird that the most defenseless country (as the community sees and the game implies) is the safest one? Why Hoyoverse made Mondstadt so contradictory like that? Bonus: Alice who is near omnipotent mage, smart and powerful, trusted Mondstadt to be the right place for her only daughter to grow up in, her judgment of choosing Mondstadt over any other nation is quite intriguing to know. Alice said it was because she wants her daughter to life in free, Alice thinks highly of freedom, unlike the community that trashing Venti for "only" giving freedom. Can't wait for the time when the lore course back to Mondstadt.

I feel like Venti lied about being the weakest Archon amongst the other seven, like he's a bard after all, so dramatic. that kick he took from Signora probably didnt even tickle, he needed his defeat to be real so whom ever was watching him wont suspect anything. I always believe he only pretended to gave away his Gnosis so whom ever that was watching (probably The Sustainer) wont think he willingly gave it away, so Mondstat wont be nuked by Celestia or something. so they will just ignore the bard and focus on the real threat that is the other 3 regions.

@@dweemiesdarkmount he also rarely glow his hair in cut scene, so weird, even when he brought forth wind from the past during Weinlesefest, he claimed it tired him so much his face turns blue (but he shown a calm face, looks effortless while doing it), no hair glow at all. Weird.

Maybe the reason why Monstadt is so unproblematic (no dark mud, withering, etc) is because of Venti? Maybe he's just that powerful? Even the Abyss can't defeat the power of bussy

Like gods such as Thanatos and also Hermes, who is also a known trickster and by what I remember Hermes created the lyre which Apollo ended up liking and trading it to get it. Why does Venti doesn't have a 2nd story quest? I love him, his voice and character. He pranks the other archons! Maybe that's why his gnosis was taken from him by force because the cryo archon knew he will not talk to the fatui seriously and may disappear again for hundred years.

When Albedo goes berserk. When, not if, I think Venti will do something similar as he did for Xiao when he soothed his mind and kept the karma at bay with his music. Because Albedo is a homonculus, it'll probably require a bit more than that but I think that Venti will try to help in his way.

My favorite Archon. It's kind of wierd bcuz I main Ningguang and always have Zhongli paired with her. I don't know my heart is so close to Venti, and for some weird reason I always think of a pet and an owner relationship to him and the young bard. The owner died, the pet was left alone and relive his owner's life to modern world and freedom as the young bard would have wanted to experience these too and the wind spirit would never feel alone anymore.

Another related theory concerning the twins, I have been thinking about after the 3.2 Archon quest is that somehow they are not actually twins but AU versions of the same person. I feel like this would explain how one can belong here but the other not, yet they both seem to have powers that 'fit' the world. And it seems like at least some beings with long memory could mistake or compare them. Venti here. Aranara. Zhongli knowing we are a witness without us having divulged too much info. It's not a super complete theory but...🤷‍♂️I like it anyway.

Many believed Istaroth is indeed the mother or atleast creator of Barbatos, whom at the time known as the Wisp or the Elf. He was apart of the Thousand Winds created by Istaroth. Although, my statement may be inaccurate due to the lack of information and research I have done. I know little of Istaroth.

According to the Barbatos Genshin Impact Wiki, this is how the Aristocracy took over: So essentially, when Mondstadt was doing well, Barbatos left Mondstadt to travel the world and befriended many Archons like the Geo Archon and the Cryo Archon. For some reason, Barbatos fell asleep for 1600 years. In the absence of Barbatos or I'll call Venti from now on, the Lawrence Clan and the Imnulaukr Clan joined Mondstadt. They promised the people they would become good leaders who will think of the people and only the people. The leader of the Lawrence Clan, Venerare, built a tall statue of Barbatos in the Plaza, with an incryption of an oath saying they promise to preserve and protect the freedom of Mondstadt. However, years later, the Lawrence Clan, now under a different leadership, become more and more corrupt while the clan itself is growing in power. Until the Lawrence Clan became the biggest player in Monstadt "politics" and became the Mondstadt Aristocracy. However, the Gunnhildr Clan remained faithful to their beliefs, as they are the first clan who fought tyranny, of course they would oppose the growing tyrannical aristocrats They tried everything to undermine the aristocracy, but were too weak in political power. So the aristocracy ruled over Mondstadt with an iron fist. Any historical relics and books/texts were oppressed or even destroyed and statues were taken down - the Statue of Barbatos in the Plaza were removed. This is I believe how the God of Time and the Four Winds were forgotten. Just imagine how many historical valued items and books/texts were lost because of the Lawrence Clan? But anyway, that's all there is. When Venti woke up, the Lawrence Clan had all the power. But I think this is already shown in the manga... heh..

Any and all voice additions or changes are included over the course of the playthrough. For example, after I finished the Inazuma archon quest, we re-visited the Traveler, as a bunch of new dialogue options were added and unlocked. The same will be the case for any changes over time, in chronological order, with the time capsule series.

Rewatching Venti's story quest in KZbin and I noticed something weird. Stanley or should I called him Hans says that he can hear the winds blowing from Mare Jivari when Venti revealing himself to him. But there's no wind in there,right?

it's highly suggested venti made the wind blow in the mare jivari for a moment. if you remember the previous conversations (between jack and (fake) stanley), mondstadters want to pass in a place where the wind blows, and the reason the mare jivari is terrifying for them is because no wind blows there. according to them, your soul cannot pass on if the wind does not blow at the place of your demise. (fake) stanley's friend, real stanley, died in the mare jivari, so his soul could not pass on. but venti caused the wind to blow in the mare jivari, so that (real) stanley's soul could pass on, after he saw hans (fake stanley) for the last time. hans/fake stanley was probably all the more impressed with venti (as barbatos) and truly believed in his identity because he made the wind blow in a place that was known for no wind ever blowing there, so that real stanley's soul could pass on, and so hans could finally feel less tormented by guilt because (real) stanley died while he didn't.

I have a love hate relationship with venti lol. I like him but how lazy he is at given times gets on my nerves like come on your the god of anemo! But I do think venti unfortunately was talking about the future of Albedo since he knows songs of past present and future.... I think Venti is incredibly traumatized by the Archon War and the Cataclysm, and isn't actually as lazy as he seems, I think a lot of his carelessness is a coping mechanism. And his nature as a wind spirit, that's a factor too of course. His alcoholism is the dead giveaway though, he's dealing with shit. Poorly. He's always there when Mondstadt needs him, and I mean true need, not every little squabble. I think he's running from Celestia and never really wanted to be in this position, but he genuinely does his best. But I do get why his attitude can be annoying

Well, that just means once the content gets to Sumeru and Nahida's release, I'll have content of the new voice lines which will include that. I always read new and updated voice lines once they're available or when newer characters come out, so it's not like it won't be covered.
