@@Skyrionn It took me a while, but I've finally watched through all of it and I loved it, so thanks again! Your summary of the story in 3 words, "A hopeful melody", is perfect! Exactly for this reason, I had told a summary of the story to my parents when I first finished The Talos Principle 2. They're not gamers and have little interest in games, but this story is, in my opinion, not just interesting, but important, and I believe as many people as possible should know about it. My parents got really interested and were moved by the game's positivity towards humans and their future (considering that the robots ARE the continuation of humanity). When you first posted this timeline, I even encouraged my parents to watch it, although, to be honest, I doubt that they actually have. Anyway, I want to say a few things about the things you said at the end of the video. First of all, I'm happy for you for the good changes that have come to your life within the last few months! What really caught me by surprise was that you mentioned the Croc remaster as a significant event for you. I myself am a huge platformer fan, more than any other genre, but I really didn't think it would be your thing! :D About The Talos Principle 2, I was with Byron all along! I would also love to see a Talos Principle 3, but it seems to me that they pretty much went with "closing" the story with this game as much as possible. It's also hard for me to imagine how they could make the story of the next game as impactful as this one. Still, I would love to solve puzzles on other worlds! :D Regarding the new puzzle elements in The Talos Principle 2, there weren't any that bothered me, but there were some that I really liked, especially those which made navigation and environmental interaction more complex. Here is my ranking of all the puzzle elements, from least to most interesting: 11. Inverter 10. RGB Converter 09. Accumulator 08. Item Swapper 07. Driller 06. Activator (Field Generator) 05. Levitating Platform 04. Teleporter 03. Robot control 02. Schifting gravity 01. Moving environmental pieces

This is WILDthat you just uploaded this today, because I just 100% Talos 2 this morning, and Talos 1 a few days ago. After just deciding to try the series out like.. last week on a whim. Had no idea what these games even were at all. This is one of the best series I've ever and I mean ever in my life played. I can't remember a game that made me think and pose questions liek this since.. maybe chrono cross nearly 25 years ago. This is absolutely wild though that you would have just uploaded this, as I completed both games and I was wondering if you had a lore video just to kind of put it all together in perspective. Amazing coincidence, but these are *amazing* games. Like 10/10 for me personally. Anyone else got any recommendations for others like this? 3:55:50 I would like to point out that there would be remote pockets of OG humans within frigid locations (as we all remember the hell of greenland in particular within plague inc), specifically anywhere near the poles, perhaps one of them was able to hold out just long enough to have avoided the infection that wiped out humanity, and study some sort of way to preserve their consciousness with whatever information was still available post-collapse. I have a strong feeling that this POTENTIAL story (because I don't want to meddle with perfection without the devs approval) could work out well with an expedition team investigating the Antarctic, perhaps accidentally discovered via surveys of the permafrost, a hidden cache with a forgotten piece of humanity could be discovered, with the preserved data of a legacy human, who almost cheated death, but just could not get the system to translate their memories into a living consciousness. I could easily imagine this as a hard mode DLC that brought back the hell of TTP1's mechanics to help tell the difficulty of converting what would honestly be the most inefficiently stored model of a potential consciousness to return to life. At the end, it could be the bridge that connects Homo-Talos to Homo-Sapiens(-Sapiens) (Seriously, TTP devs, if you find this comment, can I be that guy?)

Finally got through the whole video. Very well done. I considered the first game to be perfect and the second game to be...uh...more perfect? The tetromino puzzles in the first game only really bothered me in the messenger worlds. Some of those were ridiculous. I rather liked the bridge puzzles in the second game. You know, in every playthrough of the first game, I always got hung up on The Conservatory for some reason. Then, playing in The Museum of the Simulation, one of the three mock-up puzzles was that one. Gee, thanks game! I also always had problems with the swapper tool. I can't say that I hated them, though. I just wrote it off as my own shortcoming. :) I imagine The Anomaly and the Gehenna people will be a subject for The Talos Principle 3...hopefully. You mentioned the HL3 leaks. I really loved the movie Zootopia and the Half Life series. It occurred to me that quite possibly, within a period of a year, I'll see Half Life 3 and Zootopia 2. I think my brain will explode.

I'm sorta let down how the DLCs more align to a canonical ending. Kinda wished we could have seen the alternate perspectives in what might've happened afterwards with the main game's other endings, but at least there is a focused narrative on where the next game will go. Talos 3 will surely be something else I don't think any of us can properly imagine. With Jonas exclaiming that it will be a different kind of game, who would know but him to think how all of this could progress after such high stakes, grand revelations and bombastic endings.
