I made these last year and I just made a triple batch to make 3 dozen gingerbread cookies. I am so excited!! They were amazing last year and I remembered how good they were, that I can’t wait for Christmas.

I made these today. I live in hot Trinidad so the dough was soft I added moreeee flour and it was fine. The taste was so delish!!! Merry Christmas Amy 🤗🤗

You can freeze them for up to a month. Or they will stay good room temperature in a plastic bag for 3 to 4 days

If i don't have any molasses, ( it is not easy to find in German supermarkets, only if i buy it in internet). can i use another Sirup?or is a recipe that i can do it myself with brown sugar??Thank you in advance

No you need some sort of binder. In the past I have substituted a cornstarch mixture in my ginger snap cookies recipe and it tasted great. But I have never tried that in my gingerbread cookie recipe. I would try googling it

@@NeuroticMomBakes I tried it on Sunday and they turned out really well!! I used earth balance vegan butter, which has salt and I didn’t realize, so I left the salt out of the recipe. They were super yummy! Oh and used applesauce instead of egg 😄

Flax egg. 1 tbsp of of flax powder mixed with 3 tblspns of water. Keep aside for 5 mins. Later add.

@@ceevanwilde I haven’t personally because I live in a rural town in Tuscany. But my friend who lives in the center of Rome found some in a health food shop so there’s hope!
