The reason in yesterday's video I said "more celebrities!" is because I recorded the two at the same time and forgot which was coming out first lol.

Want to know what Taylor Swift is so successful? Just look at Ice Spice. Taylor is one of the few pop artists parents can feel okay letting their tween kids watch. Let's put it this way: we know that the pentagon funds certain Hollywood projects, especially when they depict the US military or intelligence agencies. However, a lot of celebrities are just not very intelligent. They're pampered, controlled imbeciles, especially the ones that were manufactured by the entertainment industry. They're idealized models of the sort of materialistic, mindless normies corporate America wants us to be. There doesn't need to be a higher conspiracy behind a human turned into a product.

Yeah, I'm not sure what dev is thinking on this one. Maybe he's just out of touch now. She has been everywhere for a few months in a way she was not before and it's weird. I'm not claiming any reason why but I've noticed it, and it doesn't have any obvious explanation. I also found it odd that he is so dismissive of election fraud, I can only assume he doesn't see it as a foreigner, or maybe i just saw it more bc I live in one of the counties that had the most widespread fraud (all of which were highly populated counties in swing states).

I agree that her new explosion is astroturfed. I just don't think it has anything to do with politics. Her relationship to Kelce, whether it's genuine or not (I have no reason to believe it isn't, to be fair), it's obviously a massive PR stunt. Publicity agents pair people off to raise their respective profiles for clout and money all the time. Considering we got the fairytale ending with the SB, it wouldn't surprise me. If there's a political psy-op involving Taylor Swift, it's convincing parts of "the right" into believing that Taylor Swift is a government psy-op so that they all look absolutely off their rockers and piss off all of the female voters they need to be courting.

I remember seeing a couple articles during Covid where certain celebrities (I can't exactly remember who, but I swear Cardi B was one of them) where they were called so brave because they had to eat cereal and other "regular" meals because of lockdown, so eating some Cheerios instead of going to a 5-star restaurant is considered as a brave thing to do? @@inkySaccharineThe jumpscares were the punishment for dying and the way to stay alive required some skill especially as it got harder. Problem with jumpscares is they release tension but once you die there is no tension. After awhile the gameplay was what drew people into it and then the lore which is fun to see what people come up with. Yes it's true it wouldn't have been nearly as popular it's more due to the fact that so much about it made it tailor made to go viral. It being 2014 or so I doubt that was the intention just a happy accident. The setting and animatronics and the general low budget horror gave it enough of an atmosphere too and it was a 5 dollar games. I didn't even play anything outside of the demo but I see what it had going for it. Some things go viral for a reason and has qualities that are actually commendable. Celebrity manufacturing... why? The government is interested in manufacturing a celebrity because... they like her? They get nothing out of it, just out of the goodness of their hearts the government takes interest in the career and promotion of a particular person to make them influential? Then just because it's all good and proper that person then endorses the government that's been promoting them? And that's all perfectly above board and definitely doesn't have a special name or anything, that's just normal government behavior that only accidentally promotes them, but they just cared deeply about the art or something.

Funny that Dev talks about TDS in this video. It took me wayyyy back to 2017. The days of Kekistan and Milo and Sargon. Anwyays. This is kind of a deep cut but TDS is still alive in some areas of the internet. I occasionally find myself playing Pokemon on the internet client "Pokemon Showdown" and I only ever play the unranked battle ladder. But one day, way back in 2017, I ran in to some loser named "ResistTrump". And it was cringe then bc this was a platform meant to simulate Pokemon battles. Not an avenue for political opinions. But when I signed in the other day and loaded up a game, guess who I found? The same person playing on the ResistTrump account from 2017. Imagine going through seven years of mental development and you just won't move on from an almost decade old movement bc....Trump's le bad? Just a funny thing I realized.

TDS also still exists, even amongst a lot of normies, but it's not so much the same sort of "screeching in rage at everything Trump does" but is easily in the form of never Trumpers. If you define TDS as an irrational lack of ability to view Trump in a positive light, even if he does something you otherwise would agree with (which I think is a fair description), then never Trumpers would certainly qualify as having it.

There was a January NPR article on an interview Taylor did about her influence on young girls. MELISSA BLOCK: You know, I've been thinking about this a lot because I am the mother of a 12-year-old girl, and she loves your music. Her friends love your music. You have a huge platform among a very vulnerable, impressionable set of the population. And I wonder if you think about turning your lens outward - turning it away from the diary page and sending a broader message to girls who would be really receptive to hearing about big ideas and the big world that's outside. SWIFT: Like what kind of messages? BLOCK: Well, other characters. I mean, I don't mean to minimize the effect of a love song or a pop song, but do you ever think about writing in the voice of other characters, other experiences, things that might turn girls away from themselves in a different way? ... PARKER: Well, I mean, yes and no. Like, when you have millions and millions of followers, like it or not, you've got a platform. You've been chosen. And what you do with that platform is important. There are definitely people who want her to be more involved than she already is, but that's risky and could cost her fans.

I deeply distrust all celebrities. The problem is that there are normies who take them seriously, one way or the other, on anything that isn't their expertise. For Taylor Swift it is music. Sure, you can say she is an authority on music to some degree, but a lot of people do not make a distinction in their head. Why have we started calling them influencers? It's because there is an interest that the government establishments have in utilizing these influencers to shape public opinion. Taylor Swift is probably believes what she says, she just shouldn't be taken any more seriously than any other random 30 year old, less seriously in my opinion, since her job isn't a real thing the world requires. The real plants are probably on tik tok though ,really doubt they would pay Taylor Swift for free advertisement,.

As a gen z dude born in 2004 i'm just as perplexed by you that anyone listens to ice spice. But it seems mostly catered to bratty teen girls to make them feel "sexy" or something. idk i've just always avoided girls like that at my school...

I'm gonna be completely real with, I'm gonna be a buck fifty with you, I hate Trump, but I hate the people that hate Trump more, and I'll vote for him, solely to make them mad, well that and the prices of my groceries, which he probably wont' help with, but its at least a shot in the dark, that is where we are, I will literally vote someone into office, because other people don't like him, and I'm not alone.

At this point, I'm just about ready to let the system burn. Trump isn't gonna fix the system, but he might shake it up enough that other people have the real chance to change things for the better instead of corrupt politicians from different parties working together to rig democracy

I was super confused because I was only hearing about this conspiracy coming from the media. No one I know or follow was saying it. I saw end wokeness mention it, and I heard the Fox News segment, but only those two do it with any seriousness (no, I don't follow them). Ben Shapiro briefly mentioned it as a joke, later. Maybe it's because I don't follow as many right-wing personalities online, but within my own right wing circles, no one I knew was talking about it. Like most people on the right, at least those I knew, were aware of how unhinged it was and ignored it.

The resurgence in Taylor swift popularity is definitely astroturfed. The entire music and entertainment industry in general is smokes and mirrors. Something does not get big organically and this is especially true for Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift would be the holy grail of psy-ops tbh... "Taylor Swift said _____ about a subject I know very little of. I love Taylor Swift! She is incredibly successful and seems to be a good person. If she is feeling strongly enough about said subject, I should support her..." --- Millions of impressionable people.

I never thought the sudden popularity of taylor swift was a political move, but i did notice that she became too popular all of the sudden for someone so vanilla, maybe that's why marketing is pushing her, she is so vanilla is easier to sell, i just think they hyping her too hard to sell stuff, like other celebrities not for political reasons.

Been closely following Taylor's media coverage since 2013. Something strange happened in 2014 during the initial release of "Shake It Off"... fans hated it at first, but the media told everybody otherwise and it became this iconic pop hit. Edit: I can also remember a Yahoo News article in early 2014 (before Shake It Off) where a journalist publicly apologized Taylor for writing a false report. It's very uncommon for American journalists to do that.

A thought about the Peter Fonda tweets: It's interesting to look back at GTA SA, where both Fonda, but also James Woods were voice actors: Fonda morbidly tweeting about Trump and his family, and Woods constantly retweeting Trump's tweets

Wasn't Fonda the voice actor of The Truth? Cause if he was, then this is extremely ironic considering that the voice actor of an anti-estabilishment hippie is seething about the words of the president, while the voice actor of a literal governamental agent is retweeting the exact words of said president. The sweet taste of irony for sure.
