I'm 41 and only now discovering The Tea Party. Bought 'Tangents' and just can't stop listening to this song. Truely an amazing band that I wish I'd payed more attention to back in the day. But it's never to late.

Another favorite of mine. Canadian grunge/rock n roll is just amazing. You people should look up a lot of the bands of the same era. Amazing. Truly.

Awesome song by Canadian singer and U2 producer Daniel Lanois! But this Tea Party version is by far my favourite. Just going through something very intense with a friend that's coming out of the blue after 3 years of knowing each other. We sure have a lot to share, listen and understand. We need to take these walls down and simply accept each other in our respective life. This song is the perfect soundtrack to our emotions at this very moment. Couldn't describe things any better. I guess were off to a great start! :)

I love this song. it's so emotional. there's just this almost crying quality in his voice, but it's not winey. like he really means it when he sings. sinceer artists are a rarity in this age

there are a lot of Canadian music gems, The Tea Party being one of them and so is Blue Rodeo, for what ever reason they don't do well in the states, partly because of perception in the states and the second part is the recording company, its a cycle. they dont want to permote it because it wont sell but it doesnt sell because they don't permote. There are exceptions to this, Nickelback, Bryan Adams, and even Celine Dion,

I love this song, but I don't think this version can compare with Daniel Lanois'. He gives it so much more passion and pain. After all, he wrote it. In one version he beats his breast as he sings "Oh no." It's so moving. I hope some of you will listen to his versions.

It's probably one of those things people can't control, like some people really emphasize S's when they sing or talk, it's not really something you can turn off.

@RANDYCUJO Opinions are allowed:) But RUSH is number one for me, followed by Neil Young. Wide Mouth Mason, Jeff Healey Band, Neverending White Lights, Priestess, Sam Roberts, Thornley, THeory of a Deadman, Three Days Grace, Arcade Fire, The Guess Who, Headstones, 54-40, Econoline Crush and Default are pretty cool too. Anyone but Nickleback!

i have felt the same. the hip and tea party are both amazing. it really confuses me. i would guess that its due to nickelbacks pop rock thing, i cant really describe it. tea party and the hip write songs that are more realistic, and i guess canadians just know what is going on.
