The truth will set you free, but first it will make you miserable. The truth is that there is suffering. We see this suffering as an enemy, something to be avoided, when in fact it is the one thing that has the power to lead us to enlightenment.

Disagree, that's you telling yourself this, based on what thoughts you accept as truth. Suffering is not a conscious entity capable of creating and imparting thoughts. Also, "I do not believe that sheer suffering teaches. If suffering alone taught, all the world would be wise, since everyone suffers. To suffering must be added mourning, understanding, patience, love, openness and the willingness to remain vulnerable." - Anne Morrow Lindbergh Suffering is the self created result of our conclusions about our experiences.

The suffering has been there but till now, when you become truly conscious of it, dare to feel the pain it brings, to love the part in you that's feeling it, you can transcend the pain to truly experience a state of transformation out of those sufferings. You'll get over the hurt of expectations coming from places you seek love outside, you will love those places enough, so those parts in suffering, can once again choose to feel one with love again safely but the ego really hurts in a tormenting way, when you truly realise you shall first love yourself truly deeply within- self love is not narcissistic, you are giving love energy remembrance to parts hurting to be one with all that's 😍🙏

When dealing with a Narcissist, Sociopath or a Psychopath they all have several things in common No Empathy, No Compassion, Zero Self Awareness, and Extremely Childlike EQ or EI. When any Human has the Emotional Intelligence level of a 5-7 year old, expect they will act like a stubborn child. This is age where they stopped growing on an Emotional Level because of some type of trauma event happened in their life. They choose not overcome it, which leads to one always playing the victim. When a Human has ZERO-Self Awareness they truly don't know how moronic or destructive they are.

Everyday will get brighter and more peaceful, until the day comes when you can truly find humor in this lesson. Stop expecting a broken grown adult child which is a narcissist in true form to act consciously when they don't have the ability in this lifetime. The more work you put into yourself the more you empower the self.

@@tigertalks1567 Thank you for the kind words my friend. I suffered extreme abuse as a child and into adulthood, it set me up for a lot of failure in every aspect of life. I've now been No Contact with my very toxic family for over 10 years and am doing the work now that needed to be done many years ago to repair some of the damage. It's not quite as easy as it sounds to create a new self, and never look back to those bad times, but I'm trying and that's why I'm here. Visit my channel and you will see some of my progress possibly as I try to help others from what I have learned in my experience. I'll let you be the judge on whether I might be special or gifted. Dear fan of Eckhart’s, I feel you are uncertain about who you are because you’re not making a mind made identity for yourself, or at least not believing in that any more. Your mind is losing its upper hand. Rather than develop a new mind made identity, see for yourself that you are the one witnessing all the confusion. You have always been the peaceful loving witness of all that is. Remain as that, relax into it, dwell in the living present. 🌺🌷🌿💗

No need to go in ašram than if you have at home paranoic and autistic people, you can develop enough skills to survive and reprogram yourself at the same time if you want to survive. Very important note for me, a lot of work to do every day to go through. - This was so tiring for me to do until I started to look on situations from inside, from observer, from consciousness. - Because I was forced to find myself in order to endure and take it easy. And before it was not succesful and very tiring. Still comes fears but it is easear to overcome...thanks a lot for input for taking care for ourselves, Eckhart. If we dont take care for ourselves we cant for the others.

I've become a hermit for the last 5yrs and I am miserable and my house is literally falling and breaking around me. Every day letting in more sound and allowing more sound out . The road outside gets busier every year while new neighbors move in all around me . It's kinda funny. This was recommended so I hit on it. I really like this guy. I’ve found out that a lot of people tend to say that life’s schematic. For those who are identified with their mind, with their thinking it might be, since human mind is schematic and through its screen is the reality perceived if the person’s not present... it’s just something that appeared before me, perhaps from the deeper levels than mind level.. it happened when I was present...

Dear Susan, Thank you for your honest sharing. I’m also going through the loss of the closest people and I’m forced to turn within. As you say, it can be lonely at times, but I’m discovering “the greatest love of all”. Cutting out all the middlemen and going directly to the source of joy and love - the Self. Blessings for you 🌺🌷🌿🙏🏻💕

I guess everybody can achieve the deep peace, when being in a lonely cabin for half a year. I think the story at the end is crucial: how can you achieve any peace, when life consists of line-ups and people sending you from one to the next? Not going to line-ups is not the solution, because nothing happens, when you don't play the line-up-game and eventually you can't even live in the world, when you avoid line-ups. Metaphorically speaking. You know what I mean. Did someone solve that problem?

This is either ego (you become identified with suffering) or you embrace reality and the obstacles it offers for you to learn. You have to find out.
