The other day, during the homily, our priest spoke on the day's psalm, "In perfect peace, Lord, are those who love Your Law.". He said whoever lived that way would not have peace but guilt. Disappointed, I quickly recalled that JESUS said to obey His commandments, tho none keep them perfectly due to our fallen nature. Into my mind sprang an image of Our Lady if Sorrows, with swords in her heart. I watched as she removed one of the swords, showed me the word 'PRIESTS' engraved on the blade. Her eyes locked with mine, she plunged it back into her heart. But she wept not.....I have never had a vision like that of her before of which i'm aware. What then, is the narrow way, if we do not strive to obey His commandments? Lawlessness abounds, in the name of false freedom, and look at the state of this nation!!
