I loved it. Smarter but just as funny as the movies. Also loved how the focus was on the whole family instead of just Ted.

Weird how I just finish the series as you post this and I’m not even subscribed, got recommended it 1 mins after release so “first” I guess lol

I can’t believe they got an actual talking Teddy bear.

This show occupies a similar space that young sheldon does where its a family based prequel that reaches further in its characters and its humor is more well tuned It sort of makes me want to disregard the originals and reboot them with these iterations Or give it its own timeline so it doesnt have to adhere to everything that happens

I was so happy to see the girl that played Amy in Punisher season 2 again. Show is actually funny wasn’t really expecting to love the mom as much but she’s a great part of the show

It's literally a live version of Family Guy but with different characters. The house looks the same, the cutaways are the same and the music for the cutaways is the same. But I love it. Funny as hell.

A lot of the drama parts hit really well especially the shock humor and helps give the Characters depth

I think by the end it all clicks and you get into it and I laughed very hard at things I didn't xpect to laugh. Biggest props to this show, by the seris finale, I've felt I was watching a Ted movie with Seth and Mark, for real.

I loved the drama. Both Ted Movies have a core story that are fairly deep. So they don't seem out of place in the show.

I could've lived without the politics especially in episode 6, the show had moments but it feels like your typical modern-day comedy pushing a lefty narrative. Nothing about it feels like the 90's and the liberal niece really acts more like Gen-Z in 2024.
@UGeniuss.10 ай бұрын
In my opinion the characters act like their from the 90s all except for blair. She is 100% a time travelling genz kid
@christianvazquez25878 ай бұрын
Yeah episode 6 was pretty bad, it was very in your face about politics and leaned left pretty hard. Dennis revealing himself to be gay was also just a bad writing choice because it just didn't really make any sense and it seemed to be just added for shock humor.

This show blew my expectations out of the water I mean honestly I think it might be the funniest TV show I've seen since SpongeBob and its third season

in australia they split the 1st episode into 2 parts that go for 20 - 30 minutes

I thought there was funny dialogue just between Ted and John that doesn’t really have anything to do with the plot of the episodes, but then when it gets to the plot and the interaction between the other family members it’s just super uncomfortable and weirdly acted. It really put me off the show as a whole.

The only thing I didn't like was when they brought politics in it because I'm tired of seeing that in every show that i watch now however the show is still really funny and entertaining. You also have Family Guy humor sprinkled in the show which is nice. I enjoyed this more than the newer seasons of Family Guy. If season 2 comes I'll definitely be watching.

How can they not be based on that period and also the dad of the show is all wound up and complaining about everything going wrong with the world.
@Heart2016Sim10 ай бұрын
@@one51media35 To be honest I don't care about the dad just Ted and John that's the reason why I'm watching
@one51media3510 ай бұрын
@@Heart2016Sim Regardless, TV shows work on A & B storylines. No way around it. A series would just fall flat if they concentrated on a main character only and didn't have another story balancing out the episode. Look at everything you see as far as TV. There are always at least 2 stories worked into one episode at minimum.

Some people and the word "woke". Jesus. It lost all meaning a long time ago, because of you guys labeling anything and everything that has a woman, or a gay person, or a black person, and or a person of color in general involved in it. Those things don't automatically make things 'woke'. LOL! Chill out and lighten up a bit. You wanna know something that is actually legit "woke" in a bad way? The newest "Black Christmas" remake from a few years back. Now that was embarrassingly "woke" in all the wrong ways. Almost to the point of parody.
