I think it would have been nice if Terry and Ash had mentioned Lesa and Ted’s channel on their site when they visited them. It would, I believe, be a big help in getting them exposure. The other Chateau and Manor owners do that on a regular basis to assist each others numbers. I agree more people would definitely like Lesa and Ted’s restoration projects. I can’t imagine that people aren’t interested because it isn’t actually a Chateau but a Relay Station…or a similar type of place. It is still packed full of great building projects. I think this channel is just as good a some of the other Chateau channels and Lesa and Ted each have a great sense of humor. Just my opinion…

Those routed patches over the knot holes are a brilliant idea - so simple, but incredibly practical and effective. Reading some of the other comments on here about growing your channel, why not invite Terry & Ash down for weekend when you're in the off - season? If they do a video based on your place it would certainly drive more traffic in your direction.

The weather has been so unpredictable that it would be foolish to do so, as with any events we had planned, these were put on hold. We will open for the European Heritage days in September, but that unfortunately will probably be it for this year.

I was wondering Lisa. Why arent you operating the summer restaurant? You put in so much effort in building the outdoor kitchen last year! Plus, do you have guests at the chateau? You haven't mentioned anything.

The weather has been so unpredictable this year so any events involving the outdoor kitchen have had to be postponed. We will open up for the European Heritage weekend in September. As regards guests, I'm sure we have mentioned several times that we have been open for guests since April, right through to the end of September. We are now catering for breakfast and evening meal.
