when i was 11 my dog, my bestfriend mya passed away. she was due to get put down on the 12th of december after many health complications but died in her sleep on the 11th, my mom told me she’d be happier going on her own anyway. this was my song i’d sing to her every night when she was sick, i was bullied a lot and she was the only one there for me. i remember sitting in the rain with her under an umbrella 2 days (my birthday) before she passed singing this to her, i miss her so much and still cry whenever i hear this song. i miss my bestfriend, i miss her hugs, i miss her jumping on me after school, i miss hugging her to sleep, i miss my girl.
