Fender Tremolo all 5 were amazing. They all played such an important part of the group. About 15 years ago I took my the 6 & 4 year old daughters to see the temps and it was amazing. I give credit to Otis and Melvin for keeping things going and I wish Paul could have slayed his demons. Stay safe Fender during this Ball of Confusion.

@DeVante Cooley No you can't. But those four singing with Otis are NOT the Temptations. They are the Imitations. And even then Otis was the original Temp who was the least integral to the group's success.

@DeVante Cooley But David and Dennis sang leads on most of the classic Temptation songs and that's the point. I think people like you overstate Otis' influence on the group, largely because of what was portrayed in that movie, but the movie, which was based on Otis' autobiography, was a bit biased to Otis for obvious reasons. Moreover, the fact that Otis is "the last man standing" may speak to the fact that, unlike Eddie and David, he lived cleaner and in contrast to Melvin and Paul had better fortune with his health, but not to him being instrumental to the group's success.

Like previously said, nobody lives forever ( I saw temps in concert 2x and David and Eddie when they briefly toured ) and to keep the great memory of the music or any of the other all time greats ( as we might be able to agree, todays music certainly misses the voices, arrangements, and purity of yesterday's music) is special in itself.
