Mudbuggin up at The Tent. I take the boat to the crayfish lake and set 10 traps. I trap for two days trying to get enough for a Crawfish boil. Tent cooking. Feeding the birds. Driving the loop. Trapping crayfish.

Hey Joe, as a guy who’s been through 5 hernia surgeries, knowing exactly what you’re talking about when you said “double hernia”, you need to plan for at least a month of no “Joe Activity” to heal properly. I know that’s gonna drive you nuts, but buddy, believe me when I tell you, don’t rush it! I had to sneeze right after I got home from my first one…brought me to my knees. Get it done, accept the down time, then giver hell! If I have to come up and run the mower, I’ll do it! 😀

My husband use to get me to save the shells from pecans. He’d put the shells on the grill and it made the best tasting steak I’ve ever had! It kinda makes it have a carmelized effect, the smoke, a rich taste. I don’t know, but it was delicious! When you said pecan wood it reminded me of that. Since I’ve been alone, I don’t grill. I might have to make myself because I sure do miss it. Your meals looked so good!

I started a 9.25 lb. pork shoulder on my Oklahoma Joe's grill about 8 this morning. I bought that smoker/BBQ after seeing yours and you bought another one. Love it. I so missed the BBQ in Chapel Hill, NC. Now I do my own w/ the proper vinegar/hot pepper sauce....absolutely NO tomato products in it.

I don't want to frighten anyone, but I felt perfectly fine until my internist, while checking out a hernia that I didn't know I had, said he was canceling his vacation and I was going into surgery Friday (3 days later) for advanced colon cancer. I had 10 inches of large intestine removed from my rectum, back, (yes, I now have a "new and perfect" one 😁😁), my appendix removed (I didn't even know there WAS something called appendiceal cancer), and a new appreciation for medicine. I have too many fish still to catch, and too many moments to still spoil my grandchildren.

Hey Joe, in your latest video I noticed that you have your 5 gal. water bottle sitting out in the light. If the bottle sits in the light too long a green algae will form, l learned the hard way. I have eight 5 gal bottles and six formed algae. Now I use a black tarp over the bottles so light can’t penetrate them.

as a suggestion. Around here they have wellness fairs where you can get a variety of medical tests done in one sitting. takes about 3 hours but if you did each test in different offices it would take days or weeks to accomplish. the ones that are important are the cartoid something or other. a sonogram of your neck. a cardio gram woiuld probably be useful. Same machine different parts it is used on. A blood test is pretty important too. I didnt have any symptoms and ended up with 75 percent blockage on one side of my neck. I had it cleared with surgery. Much better than a full on stroke or heart attack

I have a family of six blue jays that I feed. I get whole unsalted peanuts and they store them for winter and then stick around. I usually get mine at Menards pretty cheap. Do you have to carry anything in your boat required by game and fish? In North Dakota we have to have registration, throwable cushion, life vest per person and an airhorn. I wondered how your boat would do. It looks like your repairs kept it from leaking.
