Many ppl felt & feel the way you do. My Dad was with the Infantry in the Canadian Army in WWII. They liberated a women's camp somewhere. The SS had allowed all the old farmers & others in the countryside around the camp to come in & use & abuse & rape the women whenever & however they wished. After the camp was liberated, the military were to keep order in the camp & the region. In actuality, a bunch of women from the camp went around the whole countryside slitting the throats of all of these farmers, etc, & getting their revenge on at least as many of them as they could find. My Dad said the Canadian Army personnel overseeing the camp, and I am assuming himself included, just looked the other way. He said they felt they had the right. Absolutely!!

Some of the prisoners look old, but were actually probably only in their 30s. Had they looked this old at selection, they would have been chosen for the gas chambers along with the elderly, with children and their mothers, and with the visibly sick and handicapped. The men in the video were young and vibrant looking just a few short months earlier. Those chosen for labor were expected to last just a few months before being worked and starved literally to death. But things didn't go exactly according to Nazi plans and some survived to tell the world what happened. As result, the words "Nazi" and "Hitler" are cursed forevermore.

Have you been to North Korea? I was watching KZbin video on Iran. It was a wonderful place. Check DREW BINSKY videos!
@Hector8
@Hector8 Жыл бұрын
@Mister Big the operative word (yours) is 'was'. Iran used to be an incredible place and in many ways it remains so today. We have all seen/read (well some of us I hope) what is happening currently within its borders. Unrest, turmoil, mass demonstrations, arrests, detentions, disappearances, officially sanctioned repression/terrorism, extra-judicial murders, embezzlement, flight. Of course many of the above terms could be applicable to several other countries but that is not the point nor subject of this reply so will save that for another day! One can pinpoint the one event, the aftermath of which would see mass demonstrations and protests that continue and threaten the very existence of the country's mullah-regime dictatorship (yes) at the head of which sits the Supreme Leader (didn't make up this title, it's really what the head honcho is called) lifetime office-holder Ali Khamenei who succeeded the notorious Khomeini and has held on to the top post for literally decades! Last September 16 22-year-old Mahsa Amini died in custody after having been arrested by the country's religious police for allegedly wearing incorrectly the mandatory hijab. During her extended detention, clearly amongst other things, Amini was also severely beaten about the head with batons leading ultimately to her death. The aftermath of this brutality has seen literally people from all walks of life hitting the streets to protest her death, the secrecy and impunity of the government and calls for not only change but an end to mullah rule. The protests and demonstrations were in and of themselves were not unexpected, what surprised me most has been the doggedness and determination of protesters who have gone head2head against the regime oppression for already more than 5 months! It doesn't take an intimate knowledge of rocket science nor the perception of a Freud to see the groundswell of support having its roots in a deep-seated discontent with the mullah-run country's emphasis, externally at least, on religious trappings and semblance that Iran is living up to its self-styled moniker of an 'islamic' republic. It can be implied that the only ones believing that (to varying degrees) are the mullahs, their sycophant supporters and the genuinely deluded. Otherwise, Iran's beauty is amply seen in its generous people, incredible geographic highlights, its culture and cuisine to name but a few. Were it not for the current unpredictable, volatile and fluid security situational I'd be there for my summer break!

Nor is it likely I'm going to be able to find out given the levels of secrecy that shroud the place. Now if you could find out something of value by all means get in touch then we might be able to do something to blow the 'covertness' to high heaven! But then you might also wish to consider what consequences might arise from lifting the veil of secrecy that surrounds Guantanamo. Just sayin'...

The most brutal treatment of German prisoners of world war two was from the side of army of US. In time they have no right for . First Because this army not involved in war actions . Second the war was been secretly financing by US and England . in 1933-1938 (*1933 deep depression no money resources’) . for suppression of Europe and continent as a whole . If Japan was the colony of US and England and ruled strictly by this countries why they give them permission to make coalition with Germany(Japan have no some one interest about it by logic ) ? And if answer is clear why they drops two nuclear bomb on this colony of them .? Relevant to this day ? Of cause.( It is not because US need to treat continent in one way or another , It is because geopolitical dictates the same situation ) Who is shit with the biggest smell ? Today each police men in USA have more Gestapo nature then solders in German time one .Each nation have idiots for good of some government . Question is who have need for them. All production of this war have US origin. It is difficult to make people fool if they have a little brain.

When we as a society, teach the collective members that certain groups are " 😈evil" " immoral, sick, perverted, ultimately, less than fully human, it becomes subconsciously acceptable for those viewing themselves as being " good, moral, etc. To mistreat them, often through contextually unfair comparison. It has been an ongoing theme in human history for at least centuries.

To your comment...Goebbels had a right clubbed foot. He wore special shoes and a leg brace that made it less notable. Himmler was never a "chicken farmer" but while the NSDAP was disbanded, earned a certificate in agronomy. His wife owned a rural farm. I do not understand how people found these clowns charismatic. In news reels and recordings, their voices are shrill and grating. Goebbels was also a notorious womanizer including affairs with foreign European actresses. But, he was head of the motion picture industry...

@@jay_kay709 No clue, man. Wikipedia is hit and miss. I use it to find actual research sources. The biggest problem is users can go in and make alterations. Plus, there is still a significant amount of WWII German documents that remain untranslated. Himmler was a contradiction as he never would have made it into the SS based on the recruitment criteria he helped formulate.

Here is a question for you. Why did the Nazis drag so many non combatants to these camps in the first place? What threat to the mighty Third Reich were old people, children and pregnant women? These folks would make terrible slave laborers. Yet the Nazis tied up huge resources to do so. Even if many of the prisoners suffered from diseases like typhoid and cholera, it was the overcrowded and unsanitary conditions in the camps that caused it to happen. Thus the Nazis are still to blame for these deaths.
