@@southernindianacompetitive9040 if you wanted to make an issue of it, I believe IDPA made a note about that in the new rule ook - clubs that ignore the new rules could have their membership i. Jeopardy, the exception being for clubs that dissalow appendix as a rule at the club level. I’ll have to look for the statement they issued on that.

You've probably learned this by now, but there is no requirement to shoot from concealment on the IDPA 5x5 classifier. Or any other classifier in the history of the sport, for that matter. Impressive that you could both rock the classifier from concealment.

Good shooting. CRISP reloads. When IDPA first came out, Robbie Leatham commented (when asked what "IDPA" stands for); "I Don't Practice Anymore". Niiice. Appendix carry is legal in I.D.P.A. The 18.47 is a minimum time for a master classification, but we all know how lose their scores are for master classification in I.D.P.A. Master is not comparable to a GM in U.S.P.S.A. Any shooter that is competitive in that game would be well below the 18.47 standard. Nice consistent cold runs for both of you guys. I feel the standard method is more accurate and challenging than the abbreviated version. All u need to do is practice cadence and gripping TF out the pistol to class master. The standard method would be nice to see.

A yard is 3ft 3", so 10 yards would actually be 33 feet, not 30 feet that you measured.
