The the - Mental Healing Process

Mental Healing Process is the third extra track from the famous "6 extra tracks" on the tape cassette version of Soul Mining.
Some say that these are some or all of the tracks that make up Matt Johnson's never-released second album The Pornography of Despair.
This track was burned from an old cassette, hence the static. I couldn't find a copy of this track anywhere online, and I know that The the fans want to hear it!
I have contacted The the to ask if I can publish this. They have not responded yet. I will take this video / audio down if requested.

When Epic records released '45 RPM - The Singles of The The' back in the 2000's, it would have been the ideal oportunity to finally air all those fantastic long lost classic 'b' sides that fans of the group everywhere are dying to get their hands on. But no, with the exception of early versions of Uncertain Smile and Perfect, all you get are the well known 'a' sides that appear on the albums anyway. I was so disappointed. It would seem that great tracks like Mental Healing Process, The Nature Of Virtue, Waiting For The Upturn, Leap Into The Wind, Absolute Liberation and the freakily weird and wonderful Three Orange Kisses From Kazan are destined to simply stay in the rubbish bin indefinately. Such a great loss but, thankfully, at least some generous people have uploaded a good number of them to listen to on KZbin. Many thanks.

I think this is probably better quality than the one I used to listen to on here, but it feels a little different.
