Poor Glenn! It's the final testament to what a joke he is to everyone that even when he's telling home truths everybody just finds him funny or is totally indifferent. Malcolm seems to spend half his time telling people those sorts of things about themselves, but he manages to leave his victims feeling simultaneously eviscerated and flayed alive just with a look and his voice, whereas poor Glenn has to actually brandish a weapon before people will even let him speak his mind. Ayyye. I've just finished watching it again for the fifth time, including the movie. It's time to give VEEP a proper watch. However, TTOI can't come back, purely because of what happens to the characters. Tucker would have no influence, so you would lose any joy of watching him going around as an enforcer, Stewart (Stuart?) was also sacked, Nicola will be on the back benches, as well as Ben Swain, Glenn will have given up and the Lib Dems (Adam and Ferg) will be no where to be seen. The only even slightly likely thing would be Mannion holding onto being an MP, but he would no way be DOSAC minister and Terri might still be floating around. You could, feasibly, parody the whole Brexit campaign with these characters, as loads of former MPs came out of the woodwork for that in real life, but I just don't think it would be that funny, purely because the real-life of politics has become such a joke.
