Hello Christopher and Sean, hope you are doing both great. Here is a question for you both: what was one of the worst movies you’ve seen, but had a fantastic soundtrack or specific song/track you loved. Mine The exorcist 2 the heretic- Regan’s theme. Tom Atkins is awesome, glad i’ve met him in Germany a few years back and signed my Halloween III poster. Keep on rocking!!!🤟🏻

I agree, the Night Stalker documentary was phenomenal... and I NEVER watch true crime shows. I just happened to be on Netflix one day and the trailer hooked me, for some reason. Honestly, I wish it was longer than 4 episodes, since the story was so riveting. I can only imagine living in LA at that time. I would have been terrified!

Met Tom at the London Film And Comic Con 2018. Brillant Day. Also earlier in June that year i visited the Buccaneer lounge in Sierra Madre California, stood at the area along from the lounge where he was on the payphone to his wife in Halloween 3, thats where Michael Myers bumps into the kid with the boombox in Halloween II. Saw the church from The Fog. I didnt realize this at the time but i walked by West Montecito Avenue unaware the house where Alice is murdered in Halloween II was there and i missed it. Plus i completely forgot about the cemetery used in the first one. Still found most of them and had a wonderful experience.

I love Tom and I love to know that I am very much like him and like similar shit. I’m 34. From the age of 4 years old onwards me and my dad loved watching horror movies. And the main 3 we ALWAYS watched was The Fog, Halloween, Friday the 13th part 3. The Fog being my absolute favorite. Now as I’m old I watch it all the time. I even listen to it in the background on my AirPods while I work. It’s great.

I like the idea of a interview Book of all the details.. digital or hardcopy.. and the Guests (post virus) could sign the copies at the conventions... Thanks again for another Great drop.. Got a Nightstalker story for y’all! So during the Nighstalker crimes my parents lived with my grandparents and two siblings in Azusa, California. One late night as my mother lay in bed next to my sleeping father she heard the chainlink fence gate creak open and heard the latch shut. She then heard the creak of her bedroom door as it opened. She laid in fear as she saw what she described as a thin Hispanic man with a dark colored ball cap with shaggy hair flowing out the sides. The outside light peered through the window that housed a swamp cooler, it was just enough light to where she can see the intruders face. She was frozen in fear as she locked eyes with the man. He withdrew his head from the open door and quietly pulled it closed. She again heard the gate latch and the little chihuahua began barking. She saw underneath the door the hallway light come on and heard my grandfather scold the dog for barking and she heard him return to bed. Without getting any sleep she waited for the sunrise and the sounds of an awaking household eager to tell everyone what she saw. My grandfather mentioned he also heard noises as my mother described the intruder. My father and uncle mocked her saying her paranoia had caused her a lucid nightmare. Hours later on eyewitness news it was discovered that the Nightstalker had struck again in Arcadia. Eventually his mugshot was shown on the television and my mother told everyone that is the man she saw. Till this day the mention of Richard Ramirez haunts her. We theorize the only reason he didn’t stack their home was my mother and father lived in my grandparents five bedroom home along with my uncle, his wife and their three kids and there was no way Ramirez could have successfully pulled his crime off there. So that’s my story thanks Chris and Sean for all of your amazing content stay safe and healthy!

Commenting to give a thumbs up and a full agreement to the Horror's Hallowed Interviews as they'd tie into Sean's previous work with Hallowed Grounds, I also believe they would be mainly horror if he was working for Fangoria? Great pick for the name, Dino!

"Horror's Hallowed Interviews" is on the right track but to me I think the third word should start with a "G" so he can keep calling it HHG. I Googled synonyms for "interviews" and the closest I could find would be "Horror's Hallowed Gabs" which isn't great. How about "Horror's Hallowed Guests?" "Horror's Hallowed Greats?" "Horror's Hallowed Gurus?" Maybe Sean wants to go all Teen Beat and it could be "Horror's Hottest Guys...?" I'll be expecting a check in the mail.

Christopher, please ask David Gordon Green to cast Tom Atkins in Halloween Ends. He could reprise his role as Dr. Challis and work at Haddonfield Memorial Hospital. That would be a fun nod to Halloween 3. Speaking of the Nightstalker Netflix series, I got chills when they mentioned the couple Ramirez murdered in Glendale in 1985. I used to live in Glendale in the 80s when I was a little kid and when the show mentioned these victims it brought back a memory I have of when my parents and I discovered that someone had cut through the screen door in the back of our house. I didn’t know anything about Ramirez back then but looking back on it now I was thinking it could’ve possibly been him. I looked up where the couple lived and it was only a mile from our house. Creepy. Something I thought was strange about the show was their plan of trying to catch Ramirez by waiting around for him to show up at the dentist’s office. The dentist said he’d probably be back because he had an infected tooth, but why would Ramirez just walk in with no appointment? He had an appointment the previous time so that didn’t make sense to me. Also, they mentioned that the dentist had an alarm button that the police installed for when he showed up but it failed, and the dentist didn’t call the sheriff until 10pm that night. Why wait so long? Why not call him immediately? So he just worked on Ramirez’s teeth and let him leave and then waited several hours before he called the sheriff? That makes absolutely no sense. Ramirez should’ve been caught right then.

Hi you two bundles of joy! Another great episode as always. Sean, seen as your on a gang/vigilante trip I have to ask if you have ever considered doing a Hallowed Grounds episode on Class of 1984 ? And have you ever seen the Italian made film Bronx Warriors from 1982 ? Cheesy good fun. I watched the Night Stalker doc and really enjoyed it. I have read numerous books on Ramirez and remember seeing two films about him - Manhunt : The Search for the Night Stalker from 1989 (TV movie) and Nightstalker from 2002, wanted to know if either of you have seen them? They ain't great but interesting to see. I'm looking forward to the Cecil Hotel documentary coming on Netflix this month, Ramirez lived there on and off apparently. By the way Chris, seen as the last episode was a kind of a "Burg" episode with yourself and Sir Atkins being from there - I thought I would mention my Scottish brother in law lives in down town Pittsburgh. I was there in July 2019 doing the Romero Dead locations while visiting him, loved the Burg! Anyway I've rambled enough, love you guys and stay safe. I'm away to find me fecking gold! 🤘🎃🤘

The Dark Knight is unwatchable, so no on Batman trilogy. lol Love Big Picture! And agree with Tom, it takes money to build a great team.

Tom comes first in at 51:49 great interview and intresting listen to Tom, but the first 50 minutes could have been cut.

I appreciate that you enjoyed the interview but we have an actual show here that people who don’t come for just the celebrity interviews also enjoy. You can skip to 51:49 if you are only interested in that stuff but to cut the first 50 minutes means there is no show and hence no interview.

Stuart Cohen, the co-producer, did a great audio commentary on Scream Factory's The Thing and he tells a lot of terrific stories about making the movie that I've never heard anywhere else and one of them was about Carpenter's original casting wish-list which was Tom Atkins as MacReady, Donald Pleasence as Blair, Isaac Hayes as Childs, Charles Cyphers as Norris, and Lee Van Cleef as Gary. I think it was nixed because they wanted him to break away from his repertory company. I love the cast as is but it would be great to step into an alternate universe and catch THAT movie.

Yeah Cohen used to have a great blog up with TONS info about The Thing (not sure if it's still up, but it's a treasure trove for Thing fans; everything from details on the intial Tobe Hooper version to the fact the mighty Flamin' Grooviest played the wrap party.) I think Universal were wanting this to be their summer hit (oops!) so they wanted it cast with 'professional'/name actors as opposed to 'exploitation' actors JC wanted. Right move too, I think. Not that I don't love Carpenter's guys but it would've been a VERY different movie.
