Regarding Midnight Special: I grew up in a "too-cool" area (but then, a lot of areas in this era figured they were, LOL) and because of Wolfman Jack, etc., some refused to watch - "too commercial." Looking back, those that chose not to watch missed a hell of a lot of great music. Not every episode, but many. Most were excellent or at the very least, 'good.'
