The part that really burns my ass is, they planned this 4 part campaign, and then cancelled it after the Nurgle part added a ton of Nurgle stuff. Then they started doing the ET campaign, where they planned to do big content updates for each of the 4 gods. They did Khorne. Fine, great. Then they did...Nurgle again. And then they ended the campaign early AGAIN, before doing anything for Tzeentch and Slaanesh! So Nurgle ended up with twice as much stuff as Khorne, and infinitely more than Tzeentch and Slaanesh, who got jack squat!

@@DarthEnderX Sadly GW playing favorites and enforcing Have and Have Not armies is one of their most favored business practices and continues to this day. There are some armies such as Beastmen that GW has to be dragged kicking and screaming to even acknowledge that they exist, much less make even a single new model for.

Nurgle lord with access to Norscan, Davi'Zharr and Marked CW/Dæmon units. Tamurkhan shoukd be a horde/stateless faction, starting in the absolute middle of nowhere, next to the gateway to the Ogre Kingdoms (like in company). At the first turn, you select one of the great Order-aligned settlement. Once you get it, you can establish a settled Chaos faction. You'll need to manage "stick and carrot" type of punishments and rewards, or your horde would start to fall apart. Loyalty of the leaders of your tribal confederation would net you powerful units and lords, like Aarbal Vipergut or Chaos Siege Giants. The obvious weakness of the army is that if you fail your horde leaders, you will be left with base chaff units, like Chaos Marauders and Plaguebearers.

I think the other books should be released in some way. If not for the characters, than for the units and monsters. Especially Slaanesh, as that race lacks a large monster unlike Khorne (Slaughterbrute), Nurgle (Toad Dragon), and Tzeentch (Mutalith Vortex Beast).

Actually probably destroyed a part of the empire and be an actual danger ⚠️. But because GW did not say it was ok to let him ravage the empire because no one tell them about the world ending anyway he was sadly killed to soon

I remember reading that the original plan was for tamurkhan to bath in the reik and contaminate it forever, dooming the empire to plague and death. Basically the series was going to be an alternate end times scenario with each brother destroying a part of the old world. This is just rumours though, so who knows?

The throne of chaos books are a spine I will always have nailed, tamurkhan is super cool and I want to see the other books so bad. The best we can hope for is that GW uses the concept in some way for the old world and total war, maybe they already did as you said. Over the years I have made some teories about them: -There would have been a fifth book with Sayl the Faithless taking the protagonist role (assuming he would have been a seondary in the other books, he survived tamurkhan after all) and focusing on undivided stuff. -The Khorne new units we got for the end times and start of AoS (Khorgorath, skullreapers, Skarr Bloodwrath...) were originally planned for the second book, but later repurposed, just like Vorgaroth himself but not released by FW. -Assuming the other brothers would continue the ogre size and big mount trend, maybe Glutos Orscollion from AoS would have been the Slaaneshi brother, again the concept taken and repurposed for AoS. 17:27 that daemon prince was released for Vraks alongside other khornate things like a bloodthirster and a chaos lord (Zhufor), the one you are thinking about is called mazarall the butcher.

I clearly remember that after Monstrous Arcanum there was to be a book about the Third Battle of Black Fire Pass which is why we have seen Dwarf and Orcs & Goblins command unit miniatures.

It's very possible they'll repurpose the characters for Old world. Considering the Great Kurgan was around prior to Sigmar, it stands to reason that his sons were still stomping around on their dragons during the days of Magnus, fighting alongside or even against Asavar. They could even repurpose that Khorne vs Kislev storyline for the prelude to the great war considering how the blurbs we've gotten are about how strong and large Kislev is at this point. It'd also make sense for Tamurkhan readers that he showed up the last chronologically, since he was so slow in everything.

I wouldn’t necessarily say that there’s no word on Slaanesh. For example, it’s quite likely that the new Hedonites of Slaanesh stuff in AoS was repurposed from the expansion originally intended for WFB. I would not at all be surprised to see stuff like the Infernal Enrapturess and Blissbarb Archers backported to TOW and by extension WH3, for example.

Seeing as tamurkhan is mounting a toad dragon, the khornate guy is on top of a chaos dragon (I fucking love her model, the wiki said it's a female dragon so "her") it really gives me hope that Slaanesh would have also gotten a proper dragon and who knows, tzeentch might have gotten a dragon resembling a lord of change instead of the usual two headed chaos dragon

Age of Sigmar has done a great job with mono-god Chaos armies, although now there's very little reason to mix them at all. The only way to mix them up and have it work is in Slaves to Darkness.

While we are at it, I think there's some good stuff to be utilized from Reign of Chaos and Battle March both in terms of units and Legendary Lords. Thorgar the Blooded One in particular is a fun character and would be perfect for Warriors of Chaos. The Other games have some cool characters as well. Hell, even some of the random things they put in THIS game could work. Sporctacus would be perfect for a Dogs of War LL whose thing is former slaves of multiple races whose campaign could be all about fighting slavers (Skaven, Chaos Dwarfs, Warriors of Chaos, Daemons of Chaos, Norsca, and Dark Elves) Surtha Ek for Norsca because memes.

It was a Forge World thing but yeah the Throne of Chaos was destroyed at the End Times, like the rest of Warhammer.

It's really a shame that the 3 other sons of the Kurgan never received a similar treatment. It would have served as a *much* better buildup to the End Times and made Archaon's ascension Herald of the Apocalypse much more interesting and thematic. Gods as jealous and petty as the Ruinous Powers would *obviously* first try to get their own personal champions to kick off Armaggedon. Their separate, succesive defeats would at last prompted them to unite in full support of Archaon. And though failures, their disparate attempts at conquest would have served to greatly weaken the forces of Order; putting them on the backfoot when the final invasion began. Edit: It'd been sooooo cool if Sayl the Faithless turned out to be the Tzeentch brother. He'd show up in each campaign as a lieutenant, undermining their efforts before revealing himself.

Its a fabulous book and will make a awesome DLC for TW3.... but...According to ALL the actual lore, stats etc in the book, Elspeth is absolutely NOT a Vampire - she is very closely aligned with the Cult of Morr and her Order who both hunt them so please stop saying that! ;)
