How did you decide to get started mounting a camera and microphone to your helmet in the first place? Been thinking about doing the same just for grins. Keeping the strange record of the places I go, the rides I do, and the weird shit I see along the way. I do enjoy your videos and they make me ride differently now. I rode to top of the mountain today (2hrs). The canyon is twisty and fast so I normally blow right by a little roadside lodge built in 1935 that looks old and interesting. In true Paddy spirit today, I stopped. It’s a registered historic site and it serves as a visitor center in the summers managed by the national forest service. Honestly I do not understand the concept of gerrymandering, simply because this is one of the most undemocratic things and is the opposite of the representation of the people. Stealing a 10m fiber mango, well when the thief tried to eat it, it surely was bit of a disappointment.

It’s been a problem for almost every democracy on earth at some point. People don’t like some new guy who won’t toe the line coming in. Doesn’t happen in Australia anymore thankfully- well at least not overtly. Election boundaries are governed by an independent electoral commission.
