King oyster mushrooms are delicious in an asian stir fry with bok choy. Sauce the boy choy first in olive oil and then add the oyster mushrooms with a little sesame oil. Add sesame seeds or furikaki and serve over ramen noodles. Yum!

Watching this video I have to go to Trader Joe's and get the trout fish ( fresh frozen & smoked) miso, the little cookies , and I'm tempted to try the potato chips both flavors. 💥Quick tip: for the romaine lettuce take them out of the package individually individually wrap each with a white paper towel (make sure you put the base of the romaine lettuce in the middle of the paper towel and cover them upwards (I hope you understand what I mean: the paper towel is covering the base completely and leaving the top not so covered) put them back in their bag or put them in a ziplock bag and they will stay fresh much longer .😉 💥I appreciate Simon and your "dry" humor.😆 💥New subscriber from Florida. I'm Definitely purchasing " Happy Pat" and love those GOLDEN utensils. 😁

A lot of times, after cutting off the bottom, the beech mushrooms are torn apart and added to many Asian type sautéed dishes. The King Oyster mushrooms are also a very common ingredient in Asian dishes, at least in Japan and Korea, perhaps other cuisines as well.

Saying lilies are funeral flowers is ridiculous. 😀😀😀All flowers are used at funerals depending on the budget of the people paying for them. For example, I grew up in an area where people were not especially well off and most of the funeral arrangements were made from carnations because they are less expensive. Roses and lilies are also used, along with many other flowers, simply because people love them and associate feelings to them. Years ago, any type of highly scented flowers that were available would be used, especially in hot climates, when lack of air conditioning and modern embalming procedures created situations where they were trying to distract from unpleasant odors, but that doesn’t make lilies “funeral” flowers. So you keep on buying and enjoying them! 😀😀😀

Mushrooms ( all kinds ) fresh garlic, soy and worstershire sauce.Saute in a mix of butter and olive oil and serve over steak or any meat, rice or ramen noodles. You can add other veggies but the mushrooms will be delicious on their own too.

In Florida we do not have the patio chips - they are seasonal and been gone for months. Crazy how you still have them. I have been looking for their Chutney for months - they used to carry one in a tall jar, and I read they were bringing a new one back - I ask every week - no luck. I use Chutney on so many things and make my own a lot. Try in a chicken salad and the Jamaican Meat Patties are great with the Chutney on the side. Have you tried the patties yet - pretty good - I make my own but these are great when i am in a hurry. Thanks for all your reviews and I will look again this week for the Patio chips and Chutney. I do buy the Olive Oil chips a lot since there are only 3 ingredients in them - Potatoes/Olive Oil and Sea Salt - Love them. Have a great weekend!

The patio chips are hit or miss… they were gone for a long time and then showed back up again but it’s only a matter of time before they’re gone again for the season as they’re seasonal nationwide 😭 I loved the mango chutney in the jar- it became seasonal around the holidays a few years ago. I hope you like the new chutney!

And talk about poor marketing, Trader Joe’s never marketed their mango ginger chutney correctly so a lot of people never bought it and now it has been discontinued. It was awesome and I can’t eat samosas and many other Indian foods without it. It was TJ’s version of the famous Major Grey’s chutney but it was one of those cases where TJ’s version was far better than the original, cheaper, too. They should have done a much better job of explaining to people that it was a famous, and delicious, condiment for Indian cuisine.
@Gigi-fv9ky Жыл бұрын
Lol, I posted this before you got to the new mango chutney. I will be very eager to try it, but the other one was perfect and this one doesn’t have ginger, so we will see.
@Gigi-fv9ky Жыл бұрын
If you don’t eat samosas because of the gluten, another Indian dish I always added the mango ginger chutney too was the vegetable biryani. I also add the green cilantro (coriander) chili chutney I buy at the Indian grocery store. Wish TJs would carry that although I know I can make it myself too, but when you are microwaving lunch, you normally don’t want to stop to make homemade chutney and I don’t usually have plain yogurt either.
@user-vz3sr4km6c Жыл бұрын
The old version was so good - been looking here in Florida - still no Chutney - going again next week to check again - I still have a bit left of the old one and it was far better than Major Grey's and the price was great.
