It has all the ingredients to be great. Great cast, decent action sequences, great costume, they really had some great moments. However. You’re right. It is terrible. Awful writing no consistency, no consequences. Too many under developed characters. Underdeveloped relationships. Dick is a detective, then he’s not. They keep killing their characters and bringing them back. They use concepts that comic book fans will know like ARGUS, Cadmus Labs, the Lazarus Pit without explaining them for this audience. They keep breaking up the group for stupid reasons. Characters randomly hooking up and pairing off so there are no compelling couples. Too many ideas, not well executed. Dick kryponiting Connor to stop him helping him. Likeable actors, extremely unlikable characters. Character motivations unclear. Characters do not seem to develop or grow. They blew through one of the best villains rosters in all of comics, Blackfire, Slade, Trigon, Dr Light, Gizmo. It’s a shame, Titans could be excellent.

Get writers who know the characters & will do write by them I'll bet there were a couple who did throw their ideas into the ring but was shot down quick. After that they were like "If this is how my ideas for a great story is going to be treated I'm not contributing anymore I'm not going to let some other lousy writer take credit for my work." To which I would've walked out of the room taking my great ideas with me fans commenting on KZbin have better ideas so much that they decide to make their own fan made movies or series. Cleary showing up what Hollywood should be doing Henry Cavil who knew about the Witcher knew where he wanted the character to go but instead of heading his advice he gets fired poor guy. Then he isn't brought back as Superman what a bummer.

Season 3 could have been good. I thought Scarecrow was a good antagonist and thought there would be a Hannibal Lector-esque quality. The Season should have been built around Fear and overcoming it Jason - how his fear overcame him and turned him into a villain Dick - fear of losing another team mate/friend after Donna Gar - fear of being a weak link in the team Connor - fear of being evil due to his Lex Luther side Kory- fear of facing her sister and the past she escaped on Tameran Komand’r- fear of never fulfilling her destiny and wasting her life Rachel - fear of her growing powers Barbara - fear of never living up to her father Hank - the fear of losing Dawn Dawn - the fear of her whole life being about vigilantism and never being able to move on Tim - the fear of not being enough to protect his family (For example - insert your own - you probably have better ideas than me) The season could have culminated in Scarecrow being the big bad a manipulating Jason from the shadows while pretending to be helping Dick, releasing his fear toxin and leading to a final confrontation in Arkham Asylum where the Titans fear their fear and having to fight their way through the inmates to get to Crane.

I was just saying this, I really hated everything about titans ever since the first season. Especially cause they made raven weak as fuck AGAIN. Where is the raven that was knowledgeable about her powers, her father, and his plan to destroy the world. The raven that had to trick the titans via empathy/telepathy to form a group because the justice league refused to help her??? Not some fucked up orphan who can’t control her powers. I’m tired of this narrative even tho it is a reoccurring one for raven. At least in the comics she is prepared and capable enough to fight off her fathers influence. I’m also so tired of what they keep doing to starfire… she’s supposed to be one of the more capable titans and one of her defining traits is that she’s comedically clueless about earth and that’s part of the charm that makes her interesting… not only that she’s a fucking mess every time I see her on the screen she’s always in some situation away from the titans and just fucked up. Her powers are constantly off and on and she looks like she’s struggling every time she uses them. Gar well, he’s okay other than the fact he only turns into a fucking tiger most of the time. Another gripe is that they brought so many characters in and didn’t do shit with them. In each of these seasons they had so much potential to write a well adapted story around the original characters that could span more than 5 seasons.. They went through so much material and shoved it into one season each and called it a day. Trigon needed to be the big bad guy at the first season. Next season SLADE, then Blackfire, and scarecrow. There’s simply no direction and I feel like the production team didn’t give a shit to put effort into making quality content after the harsh criticism of the preview.

Plus I don't really understand why they picked Red hood as their main villain in season 3 when his villain arc has nothing to do with the titans. Red Hoods whole reason for reading vengeance was ruined. Another thing is that there are to many things going on in one season and they just pause one of the things to make an episode on the other and then they pause that to continue with something else. Last thing that comes to mind rn is how they fucked up Tim's background, with his family life and how he's like a rich kid in the comics and that he's low-key a stalker. I really don't like this show and am only watching it with my sister cuz she wants to, I am a Red hood fan and this really makes me want to cry and die at the same time :(

The literal only thing I like about this show is the costume design. Red Hoods design is 🔥. This show just got so many things wrong..Dick is far too serious and not at all his cocky, quippy comic book self, Beast Boy has never had a thing for Raven, they completely missed the mark with Batman and Dick didn't leave hating Bruce there was never bad blood between them he just wanted to do his own thing...they wanted an excuse for him to be his own character and to not include Batman but they literally already had one in the source material...they they've clearly chosen to ignore. Jason is kinda accurate but at the same time the ending to season 3 is lame...

Personally I love the ADHD style, and I have never watched an episode, but i love watching videos from people exactly like you. They hate it, but they can't stop watching lol. I just can't handle edge for edges sake anymore, and I watched all of Smallville (and there is no way I could do that now...none...i mean...it was laughably so bad that it was good back when it aired tbh AND there was no MCU or Arrowverse to compare it with...sorry didn't mean for that lol). My point, i totally understand being unable to stop no matter how bad it gets...that final season of Smallville with the "New Gods" lmao and that was not all that long ago. I wonder if any Smallville alums are on the Titans Production Team lol

Yeah,I watched a couple of episodes with someone who liked it More than me the only thing likeable about it was maybe the theme song the young justice cartoon was somewhat better they should stick to heroes-type of live action super-heroes content cause it's almost always a dumpster-fire with stuff from the comics......
