The road version of the 14xx looked very accurate. It's a shame it doesn't seem to have survived.

This fantastic. Great footage and a really nice clip of one of the greatest cameramen of all time and I love the day for night shots and behind the scenes.

After losing his sanity whilst on the run from the diesels on The Other Railway, Oliver decided to finally take matters into his own buffers, leaving no survivors.

Many thanks for this - I'd often wondered how they did the "stolen train" bit, my dad always theorised that it was done somewhere like Weymouth with paved in tracks. The fake engine is surprisingly convincing - shame they didn't keep it.

A very good and funny film. Looking at the new titfield hornby set would it been possible to use a model vintage thunderbolt steam engine and not actually the 0.4.2 GWR tank Loco witch i noticed it with grey passenger coach and brake van!!
