Great ! I‘d wish I could change the Pc board in my LS50 to 50s wiring , but I‘m afraid it would be all messed up afterwards. Bare Knuckle Stormy Mondays , or Duncan '59 , both expensive….Still wondering which way to go though I like the Gotohs a lot that stay in the guitar for 43 years now… Great vid , a labour of love !

It really does. Honestly, it's as good as my 2009 '59 reissue tobacco burst. The only tonal difference between the two is the pickups i put in the R9(which i had in the Edwards Page LP) are a tad hotter. So the Tokaii which i named "Sandi" sounds creamier while the R9 which i named "Brandi"(as that's what was playing on my stereo when the ups man delivered her)) has more bark.

@@KossoffFan Huge FREE/Kossoff fan myself. I'm guessing you knew, hence the naming of the guitar, but Kossoff's long time friend/grilfriend was named Sandy Chard.

Yup. She's actually a friend of mine. We've known each other since 2004. That's the other reason i named the guitar that. I just used the different spelling with an I because of a girl i knew.

Was this a Korean, Chinese or Japanese Tokai? I'm assuming it isnt a Japanese because it had a veneer top, my understanding is the Japanese versions do not have a veneer top but the other two countries of manufacture do.
