Correction: The tuning on this instrument is actually C-G-Am-F (The same basic chords I mentioned, but in the key of C, not D)

I made a tongue drum recently and it was much more difficult to get it sounding half decent than I expected and some sources on the interwebs made it out to be. I was mostly interested in playing around with the form factor of it though and I think I had more success with that. You might like the last video I published showing the process.
