This man speaks truth. Not just because he is an apostle of the Lord. He speaks truth about the verbal abuse. I am a convert and was married to a nonmember. My childhood family life was a lot of name calling as was my marriage. And many relationships both in the home as a child and in the work place were this way. I've literally struggled everywhere I go for as long as I can remember. My heart is broken and I hate who I am. People take advantage of me so much. I pray everyday but still feel alone and not important. But I trust my Heavenly Father. He knows all. Whatever he wants for me then I will go and do those things even with a heavy heart. Thank Elder Holland for your words.

I am so sorry for your experiences. You are so faithful to continue to trust Heavenly Father and the Savior. I promise They are there for you. You are not alone! You are amazing to be able to share those experiences with others. You never know who's heart you might be helping to heal when they know that there are others who have lived similar lives as them. Take those experiences, and the strength you have gained from them, and help others find the strength that you have found. You have a great potential to be the Lords hands in giving others hope. By serving in this way you may just find your gift... your talent. The Lord gives us experiences that He knows will help us become who He needs us to be. He will guide you if you continue to pray and listen. He will do great things through you! ❤

I hear the reality that the President's of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints are working on this very difficult, struggle with the natural man.. just as much, if not more or less, than we are. Isn't it a good and relatable comfort to know that leading a church of disciples, we have the ultimate example of discipleship--Jesus Christ--- and is it not very useful to have disciples who understand, undertake, and propose perspective, new passion, and forward purpose in this essential aspect of discipleship? This was the most tender and serious chastening I have received all day and I am blessed immensely for it. This talk IS a treasure sent from heaven, a light to be used in the dark nights of sailing the seas of my relationships. I know God lives and loves me dearly because despite my many, many, serious shortfalls and transgressions of the law of charity, even the tongue of angels, he has given me another chance to learn and to grow. I am indebt and I believe all who receive this talk are in additional debt to God and owe him our good efforts. God's speed, brothers and sisters! Thank you for your time to read this comment!

A woman who is abused will use her voice to protect herself. That is her one power against evil against her. When the abuse is removed then is she able to see her true self as a daughter of God who has great power to use that voice for good. Satan is out to destroy women in this way through abuse whether it be by a man or her own inner voice and the voice of the most evil of all, even Satan. She needs to learn who to listen to on a regular basis by coming to Christ daily and through out the day. Christ saves and rescues us from all evil and allows us to live more abundantly. I love elder Holland like I would a tender and loving parent. He is strong in his words but very caring too. We can be patient with each other as we learn and heal because we don't know what people are going through, but we all need the redeeming love of our Savior and our Father in Heaven.

This is my testimony in thanking God for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints. His true living prophets and apostles. This i know that sence this spinning blue planet and all the worlds of God were created anytime we as real children of a real Father in heaven have wanted to grow and become more. God our Father in heaven has always worked through true prophets. The living word of God is the mouth of a true living prophet. The only way to go in the time of Noah was to follow Noah. The only way to go in the time of Moses was to follow Moses. Truly the living word of God is the mouth of a true living prophet. I have never read anywhere in the holy bible where Christ Himself did any writing except for in the sand so who wrote the bible true prophets of God. If it is important to read the holy bible. It is important to read the Book of Mormon. For it is the writings of dead prophets on this side of the world. I know that Jesus is the Christ the Savior of the whole world. I know that Mormon was a real man and a prophet of God. I also know that Alma Moroni Mosiah Nephi Lehi and meny others were also true prophets of God. I know that the earth was deviled in the days of peeleg. Genesis 10 25 .i know that Jesus Christ come over here as he promised. I know that the book of Mormon is true as a great witness of Christ the Savior of the whole world. The only begotten of the Father. I know that God loved his children on this side of the world to . Truly a child can grow and become an adult. Truly we can grow and become like our heavenly parents. Truly wemon do not throw their bodies away after resurrection. We are real children of real heavenly parents. The essence of life is to grow and become and to overcome. It is pure love that our heavenly parents want us to become like they are. I am only one and the Father of my children that does not mean that there cannot be more Father's. There is no other beside me as there Father. But that does not mean that there cannot be more Father's. The same is true with our Heavenly parents. God is not God if He can not say look there is nothing over there because of your faithfullness obedience training development and who and what you have become i give you power and authority to go and make yourself a world. God is not God if He can not do that. It may take meny years after your resurrection but He can do that .He is the Father of our spirits. Truly the purposes or essence of life is to grow and become more for the calisthenics of growth and development we are here on this spinning blue planet. To show to our heavenly parents we can overcome and become like they are. So when Christ comes we can be more like He is. One Lord one faith and one baptizem. I know that Jesus is the Christ the Savior of the whole world. I know that Joseph Smith was a real man and a prophet of God. He brought a lot of light and truth to the world. Ii know that God loves us His children. I know that the living word of God is the mouth of a true living prophets and apostles now on the earth. I know that the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints has these truths.

Our words and thoughts are curses and blessings sent to others and when we curse others with judgements and name calling and anger we curse the other person and ourselves. Blessing others undoes curses and repenting and forgiveness to self and others.

I have two more sister not yet baptize, 3 nieces, 3 nephews; they have children but not yet repent, baptize and married; they represent those like them too. I believes if GOD let human live; HE also like them to just believes they too have soul and just repent, baptize and married because all are flesh. Please! Forgives my family, I cannot teach them because they don't want to believe what I say, because they know me and how I live close to them. I'm not worthy because I am flesh and body too but I take care of my head too. Please help my lost family.

Probably not I'm a return missionary from the church...when I was a missionary I had it a couple of times I was learning Spanish and it was given to me with diligence sometimes. I knew nothing abt the Spanish language I learned French in middle school and hs
