would love if more time was spent highlighting the huge depth of the field! so many cool cars and drivers were left out to focus repeatedly on the leaders (two of which were replicas anyway)

I think the capris did so well to keep up with the much newer Nissan skylines. Just shows how fast those RS3100’s are. I was there to watch that race and for me the Capri was the moral victor as it was a lot older.

Andy Middlehurst has been playing with Nissan GTRs since they came out ,his company did all the up grades for the UK spec R34GTR with gear box and diff coolers and bigger brake package and a few other changes .The Aussie Gibson Motorsport Grp A R32GTR were first red white and blue Nissan sponsered then the red Winfield ciggarette sponser ,Alan Moffits Grp A Mazda RX7 was Peter styversant ciggies ,early 80s

All the fast Cossies!😣😡 That was a rookie move by that white Sierra at the start. Not even worth watching the race now. Just a no competition parade with what's left only hoping for mechanical failure on the leader's part.

Skylines in Australia weren't under the Peter Jackson livery as stated they were Winfield livery
