"Yankee ingenuity" is an American English idiom that describes the inventiveness, self-reliance, and expertise of people from New England. Her Grandfather and Father needed tools for their own specific needs. What did they do? They made their own. Proud to say that I was born and raised in Connecticut among many of these individuals. Trying to decide which box set fits my needs. After sharing the video my wife, she asked me which one I'd like for Christmas...decisions, decisions.

We use WL Fuller drill bits on a CNC at work. They are used to drill through 1.250" thick LVL and 1.188" thick pine. Most runs are 30,000 holes drilled without changing the bit. We also had to drill 1.250" holes in 1.250" LVL. Blowout on the bottom of the part was a concern. I called Fuller and they suggested a particular bit. It took some time to get since they use common bits that they grind to their modified design and that had to get a bit in that was the proper size. The thing cut like a champ when we received it. No blow out or chip out on the top or bottom faces. Can't recommend their bits enough

I bought a box of Fuller tapered drills and counters over 20 years ago. I don't know where I bought them. I don't know where I heard about them except maybe at a woodworking show I attended when I lived in Houston. And when it comes to screws in wood they are the only way to go. The tapered drill is one thing but the countersink is icing on the cake. Lov'em. Every time I use them today I often wonder when will I replace them but they keep on drilling. Great video. That women is inspiring.

I’ve watched so many of your videos and they are often quite helpful. I love that you made this video, not only is Ms. Fuller knowledgeable and thorough, she clearly has a passion (rightfully so) for their products. It’s very refreshing to see an American company take such pride in both their products, as well as serving the needs of their customers. I appreciate high end tools and I’ll definitely be supporting their business.

Matt, you should do a video comparing sanders for contoured surfaces. I don't think you've done a video on it and sanding shapes and trim is one of the most annoying things. I think there's surfprep, festool, mirka, and Milwaukee that all have different types of foam pads for sanding curves.

@jasminefuller319
@jasminefuller319 25 күн бұрын
You are absolutely correct. We actually carry a full line of Cobalt tools for stainless steel. Cobalt drill bits have a non-angled edge, unlike wood drill bits which have a thinner flute and 118 degree point. This can cause the bit to shift on the wood surface, and become aggressive which may damage the wood. Tungsten another powerful drill is not recommended on handheld equipment. We carry a full line of ferri tic drills used in machinery on on more abrasive materials such as formica and fiberglass. All wonderful products for it's each individual use
