The drill brush, and tornador air gun are essential in my operations. There's a lot of situations where the tornador air does a much better job than the drill brush. Combined, they put in some serious work and make results happen. That being said, I'm impressed you managed to still stay active on this channel.. keeping the channel up is a lot of work when adding in the physical energy used in detailing. Especially, in direct sunlight and heat.

Used it for the first time last weekend definitely worth buying if you're a person who likes detailing your own car recommend first time to use on lowest setting 800 so you don't burn paint don't leave in one spot keep moving it over paint easy to use kzbin.infoUgkxfzbDkCRyv3CFXnLZI4APZtRRuG2uRmP2 truck looks like new again used maguires black light battery life like all milwaukee products seem to hold up well 😀

I have no idea how basically all the detailers put the floor Matt's on the ground and scrub them like that. No hate haha but right off the bat I bought a mid sized foldable table and that's where I do my scrubbing and extracting on the floor Matt's. Much more convenient and professional in my opinion of course

Battery is rated by Amps. Dewalt has 2 amps , 3 amps , 4 amps ,5 amps even up to 9amps. The higher the amps the longer the use you get out of the tool

I'd be lost without my Ridgid 18v drill, jobsite blower, and vacuum. I even use the drill with a proper backing plate and pad to spot correct on paint also water spotting on glass. Excellent content! 🍻

Could you use an impact driver instead of a drill? Or would that damage the surface your cleaning.
@stevel14753 жыл бұрын
Too much power, do you wanna tear the carpet fiber out...? Lol. Cordless drill 12V to 18V on #1 low setting is sufficient, wanna do it quicker #2 setting. Test the brush bristles. There is hard, medium, and soft. I would do medium or soft on interiors. Impact drivers have alot of driving torque, it is overkill. It's meant for driving screws, bolts, and lag screws into thick wood or concrete. Some use to drive screws into metal as well. Best tip keep the drill dry and clean after use. Never drain drill battery to 0%(dead) and ever charge to 100%(full). Use till 20% left and charge back up to 80%. After charging battery, it is hot. Let it cool down then use battery. Sometimes that can be hard to do when you are doing a job.

Question? How do you guys clean a cloth visor that is dirty “spot treat a visor is easy” but a filthy visor that is over 50% dirty, I have no clue how to attack it I tried with a stain solution and a brush first then I tried to steam it. I was not happy with the results. Thanks in advance!

Look at the number on the battery. It’s the amp hour rating. The bigger the number the more work time on charge.

I started using a drill last year, don't know why I didn't years ago. I bought a set of the 3 flat brush of different stiffness, but the softest one will bobble up seats and even carpets if they're that rubbish stuff. So I'm going to look for something much softer. Shame there isn't an industry standard.
@insanegnyc Жыл бұрын
You neglected to mention that a corded drill is wayyyyy more powerful. It doesn’t matter what brand. Any corded drill is incredibly more powerful then any cordless drill. That should be brought up because of the significant power difference
@DetailGroove Жыл бұрын
This is true. Anything battery powered will lose power versus corded. That being said, 10/10 times, I'm taking a cordless drill. Also, for our application, we don't need a super strong drill 😅

They need {inventors, hell maybe I should} to come up with a design that you don't have to hold down the trigger and it's not super heavy AND doesn't die quickly for the people that have carpel tunnel. I know ryobi came up with a cleaning tool that comes with a brush and I'm thinking of buying it only if I don't have to hold the trigger the whole time. But 30min just isn't long enough when your in the cleaning business. I like to use it for shower glass doors and grout. 😉
