The mustangs have never been about to fastest car on a track and I don’t believe they have took the Gt to the Nurburgring yet. Plus ford hasn’t paid any attention about setting laps on the Nurburgring. That could be a good thing

Ford do brag about improved handling but it is still their weak point and always will be. It is fast in a straight line and they sell well so that is all that matters but people do care about handling. I owned plenty of cars that are great in a straight line ('72 Chevelle SS, '70 Charger RT, '88 Mustang GT) but driving a car that can handle curves is a whole different animal.

I know there isn’t any ford on the list and that is because they haven’t took the Gt to the Nurburgring yet. And since when has the Muscle car been about setting track records. I am glad they haven’t took the Mustang to the Nurburgring and the current Mustang isn’t a bad handling car. But credit where credit is due I respect both Chevy and Dodge for setting fast lap times around the Nurburgring. But I will still be a Ford guy who respect and likes some Dodges and Chevy
