^ yeah. kurt wrote about it in his journals. he didn’t really like dave anymore cuz his ego inflated and he wasn’t great to women. he also stopped talking to kurt and courtney because of them being in addiction (even though kurt was his boss)… before dave, kurt wanted patty schemel from courtney’s band hole as the drummer for nirvana. after they settled on dave, patty joined courtney’s band. he has said, on record in 1993: “i would rather play in hole”.

I could say the same thing about Josh Homme and Brody Dalle. I could feel Josh wanted out of that marriage long ago and he finally did but it took a lot and their relationship was messy AF like Courtney and Kurt’s was. Fueled with drug abuse for many years. I’m glad Josh made it out alive. I wish Kurt would’ve but the real fans know Courtney killed Kurt and that’s it 💔
