Uhhh....what is she talking about, though? Maybe I'm too young for a line like that (I was born in 1999), but, as far as I've researched, Dateline was a TV or reality "news show" about random celebrity gossip. And none of the shit they said about random celebrities was even true so they seemed to me to be like TMZ before TMZ was a thing and all they (Dateline) ever did was make the equivalent of clickbait articles, and put them out there as factual news like a lot of untrustworthy sources that are out nowadays. My question is, what did *that* have to do with a song that's essentially about sexting and a sexy (possibly underaged) girl livestreaming on a porn site or something like that?

Blueface's lyric was obviously a joke, so I don't have a problem with it. I'm actually pretty sure he was leaning into the fact "fucker" is an insult and that it's surface level the least clever thing possible. The really bad lyrics are the ones that just make me cringe.

Hate to go all nerdy on you, but the Death Note doesn't technically let you kill anyone you don't like, it only lets you kill someone if you know their name, and what they look like. There's also a whole bunch of other rules surrounding that book, but those are the 2 most important ones I can remember.

His whole point was that they were just using it to sound cool and as a pointless pop culture reference If they didn't want it related to the show, they could've named it something else and kept the entire song the same But instead, they paid for the rights to use the name since it's definitely copyrighted and specifically went with that Plus, them saying like "signed" instead of "wrote" leans more toward how it works in the show Wrote would've still sounded good with how it pairs with note
