Tbf, this gives them time to go over each board game in-depth. And when it comes to board games, you really need to spend more time explaining things because it is a board game. Board games are about the rules and such, which need to be explained.

About Agricola being a funny game. This game includes a job called "Net Fisherman". The German word for this job is Netzer. And the image on the card is a straight up portrait of a german football player. Called Günter Netzer. It also includes Franz Beckenbauer as someone who builds sinks and Klaus Teuber as a dock worker who converts ressources 2:1. If That isn't the peak of what we Germans consider Humor, I don't know what is

Before the wooden animals, early editions of Agricola just had different colored cubes. A guy in my board game group 15 years ago had a t-shirt that I loved that was just the different colored Agricola cubes in a row and under them it said "use your imagination".

Lads seriously, besides the card close-ups, you knocked this one out the farm perimeter! Lovely and all as people are, nobody needs to watch other people playing a whole board game all the way through. Love the different coloured background, the winner sitting in the middle, and most of all the 'Match of the Day' highlights of the gameplay where you can't help but forget that the camera is there and genuine moments of craic and joy and laughter are captured. 11/10. I am here for all 99 future episodes! Well done you kants 🙌🏼

Agricola is one of my groups favorites. One of my friends bought the new big box version so we basically have everything. Besides feeding, one of the hardest parts is having the diversity on your farm for scoring. Missing a resource or have a blank tile, that's negative points. Plus if you have too much of something it doesn't help scoring. There's a scoring ceiling on each resource, so you can't just become the wheat guy and end up with 30 wheat. You have to do a little of everything which makes this game even tighter than it already is. And as far as best upgrade/humor I've ever seen on this game, someone glued tiny googly eyes onto all the animals, greatest thing I've ever seen.

There is something unique when you get to see them in this more casual atmosphere, no weird costumes, Matt is not in his worm costume, Tom without facepaint... Love this And no, I still love and adore "cinematic" reviews and often even rewatch something, but this format is looking good. Can't wait for other 99th parts!)

Loved it! I absolutely believe in you lot to see this through to 100 games! I look forward to watching the final episode in my nursing home where I am still playing Agricola with my elderly fellows. More specific feedback: I really enjoyed seeing the UK crew together in frame. I like the idea of "top 100 in detail" and look forward to more. I like the contrast between this video and other, more standard SUSD reviews (its a nice pairing that adds more texture to the channel). Perhaps consider some standardization in scoring if you feel that it suits the vibes (as in 0-5 points in the fun category, 0-5 in the fun, 0-5 in mean, etc.). You fellas rock!

What a slick well-oiled machine this top 100 series is :-D Good discussion on Agricola though, it was the first Euro I was introduced to many moons ago and it is one of the major landmarks in boardgaming history I think. The separate Family Edition is also good to play with the kids if your own family growth action has been successful - much kinder than making them gather lumber.

Agricola changed my life, still one of my favorite games to this day. I think its magic because it's walking the line between a lighthearted and serious theme all on top of a highly strategic farming sim. The slow rollout of action spaces makes for a great game arc. Im still not crazy about the cartoon illustrations, bit the animeeples were a great addition to the aesthetic.

I loooove that you made this video!! Agricola is brilliant. Agricola, my favorite board game that can feel like a genuine struggle. Wonderfully thematic, tactical, and cutting. The cards make it so much more, since you need to pay for them after fighting for some of the most contested worker placement spots. Once you play them, you may not even use them! Every turn matters. Working to both sustain and grow your farm with only 2 workers feels like a daring climb - if you fall behind you have to go begging for food and lose loads of points. You're usually dancing around the other players' strategies and guessing what they will do next (another point of brilliance from the hidden information in cards). Agricola is definitely a character!

OMG this series concept is amazing. And such a good "review" of gric. it's just the vibes, and why they vibe. which is the most important thing in any game. I took 13 years after starting the hobby to get my copy and it's definetily in my top 5. I love feast for odin but it's just so... friendly? Always places to go, always alternate strats, always time, always works, always food! The mean, desperate struggle of gric, and the pride you have in your 4th place crap farm is transcendental.
