Thorpe is solid second, I like how its on an island surrounded by water. Although not many new rides, I think it has the best lineup of rides in the country. Best theme park in the UK has got to be Towers. Its like a fairy tail with the gardens and theres some magic to the place. It also has the best ride in the UK imo, The smiler 😀.

Towers feels like a ‘THEME’ park while Thorpe Park feels more like an amusement park. Towers is just Magical though the way that every section of the park is hidden in the forest makes each place feel like a whole new world

My TOP 5 (in the world) 5th - Chessington - I like the park. 4th - Alton Towers - We didnt do very much there as i wasnt keen on rides when we went. 3rd - THORPE PARK - I really enjoy it. 2nd - Paultons Park - Best park in the UK. 1st - Disneyland Paris - WOW. Beautiful & magical park.

I never live in the UK. But I can rank my TOP 5 British Theme Parks: 1. Alton Towers. (I never been there, but I do heard about it.) 2. Thorpe Park. (Same with number 1, but it does has a lot of great theming.) 3. Blackpool Pleasure Beach. (Same with numbers 1&2. But I like the waves next to the boardwalk.) 4. Chessington Worlds of Adventures. (Same with numbers 12&3. But it has a nice zoo.) & 5. Legoland Windsor. (Same with the 123&4, but I do like how the land is themed with Legos.)

I haven't been to many so my UK top 5: 5: Butlins Skegness: Hardly even remember it as I was young when I went. 4: Lightwater Valley, before the lightwater valley death, it had Ultimate, Raptor attack, Eagles Claw, Black pearl, Apollo, so a decent selection. 3: Ocean Beach Pleasure Park in South Shields, I was on a trip and decided to have a pop in, it had a decent selection such as: Crash Test, Break Dance, Ice jet, Spring break (Claw) And a few more. 2: Flamingo land. Been A few times and I have always enjoyed it, amazing rides such as Kumali, Mumbo Jumbo and the best of all, Hero. It was a joke don't beat me up, the best in my opinion is Velocity. 1. Alton Towers. I have been twice and its probably one of my favourite places on earth, the rides are amazing and there is just a magical atmosphere (The Alton Towers Magic). Im trying to get to more theme parks as I really wanna do blackpool and thorpe mainly.

Personally I put alton towers second and Blackpool pleasure beach first because I have been on more rides at blackpool than alton towers I haven't done Smiler, Rita and Oblivion yet so heres my list! 1. Blackpool Pleasure beach 2. Alton Towers 3. Drayton Manor and uh thats all the theme parks I've been to..... thats because im 9. I've ridden nemesis. Soon to ride the pepsi max big one on in late June or somewhere between June 29th and July 10th this year in 2022. I also love grand national personally I dont think its rough I can stand Big Dipper and Grand National such a classic theme park from 1896. Disagree on the order of the top 2. I go purely for the rides and because Towers is so spread out you can't just nip from one area to another to avoid queues so you basically make a plan and stick to it regardless of the queues so if you plan wrong you might not even hit all the rides in a day vs the same time at Thorpe park and I can hit all the main rides 2-3 times.

having not been to paulton's park or chessington, i can't really compare them to anything else, but of the parks i've been to, my ranking would be something like: 1) Thorpe Park 2) Alton Towers 3) Blackpool 4) Drayton Manor Controversial, yes, but I did enjoy Thorpe more since it felt more thrill-oriented than Alton, even though Alton also has some great thrill rides. I love Drayton, it's my home park and from what's been going on in the past few months, I'd say it has a bright future, but I can't really put it above Blackpool for obvious reasons lol

There’s a lot coming for families, they’re gradually getting rid of their thrill rides so it will probs never reach this top 5. London resort will probs be the best (if it opens) and Paultons Park has a bright future as they’re potentially gonna be adding more thrill rides

Alton towers last year wasnt great. I went on a not-so busy day, so easily covered all the bigger rides. VERY disappointed how they have let the rides get so rough. Smiler used to be smooth and fun, Air was one of my favourites. Signed a grumpy old man who’s no longer cool. I’m off back to Wales this year for second Velocity ride along with their new solo hanging coaster.

Cannot give my opinion, my bias is too strong for Alton towers as it is my home park, technically Drayton manor is closer but towers has a place in my heart. Also my hyperfixations won't leave it alone
