Thanks for the videos, my mom put me on them. I’m a young black woman moving from Seattle. I’m debating on Charlotte and Austin. I’m on my own so it’s like a lot to think about but again you did a great job highlighting things. Hopefully your staying safe with the Corona stuff!

Mona Mance thanks for watching. I’m moved here from NC and lived in Charlotte for a year. Charlotte is dope. I can say that. They both have some pros and cons though.

I feel like for myself I’m coming alone so I just want to be able to have a good amount of things to do, be around more brown folks, and not have to live check to check. Out in Washington it’s only about 2% black folks so honestly to hear you say 7% was exciting lol. What were your thoughts on Charlotte?

Mona Mance well Austin has a better job market and Charlotte is more diverse. It’s 35% black people in Charlotte. It seems bigger but Austin and Charlotte really the same size. Charlotte does have a nfl and nba team.

I need some breaks. 🥴 lol I use to live in San Antonio a couple years ago and didn’t really like the vibe to much but now I’m old and crusty so maybe I’ll see it a lil differently.
