Believe me, going this route with the cartoon avatar fill-in with emotion stills will save you heaps of time when it comes to commentary style videos. I saw the character stills ahead of time and thought they looked pretty good! Also nice background choice. Anyway neat top 10 list, I especially agree with Crash Bandicoot 4. The game is very challenging but it's what Crash really needed which was a return to form. I can't really comment on the other games since I never played them but the list still felt pretty solid. Nice one.

Crash 4 also demonstrated why a new sequel is more appealing than another remake. The N. Sane remake made sense as an interest gauge but Crash sure didn't need more remakes after that.

That is a decent list you made and I do like your furry avatar. :) Glad you have Crash 4 in the Number 2 as it is a challenging but fun game and I do like the new ideas in it. I am surprised you haven't mention Spider-Man: Miles Morales since you & me really love the first game. So thoughts on the Miles game, if you did play it?

@@TheRetroReplay Fair enough, as it is quite a good side-game for Miles and a breather before the big sequel. :) I feel that game could've have an extra villain or two in the game as it has a small number of villains. Aside from that, that is a great game to end 2020.

New format is neat, but I do think maybe trying to enlarge the gameplay screen in the future. Or maybe have cuts akin to how you used to have flips between your camera and the gameplay. Still nothing wrong with the "furry" avatar, and its a fun thing to have a sort of channel icon/av. For the list, I certainly didn't expect to find Cyberpunk on it (but I didn't see your review either), but I'm kind of understanding of jank games. People have different thresholds and standards, and many glitches occur anecdotally. While stuff like the storage glitch and multiple mission-ending stuff others speak of is something that would keep me away from the PC version, I get how others may take those risks and find the rewards. That said, no, I haven't gotten that kind of stuff in a Bethesda game. Even the base PS3 version of Skyrim had me sucked in without issues for the longest time (closest equal is an eventual patch-added glitch of water-touching crashes. That was awful, and on the level with CP2077 style reports). I just can't personally equate vertical mountain horses with the problems I've seen CP2077 has on the basic roads, but if you're not finding those problems (or found an unlucky batch of worse in Bethesda content), than more power to your enjoyment here. Instead of Bethesda though, I'd point to my guilty pleasure being in the kind of jank that makes up a still fun experience like Two Worlds 2 - such a weird mess of fun. I can't even truly "recommend it", but just put a bug in people's ear that maybe they'll like it if they can tolerate something that feels like it was stuck in a B-tier studio's beta phase. I entirely agree with Doom Eternal's issue. I get the defense some try to make for the Marauder, but he's just not an intuitive and balanced enemy for the core idea of Doom. Super shield, dog gives you slow debuff, immune to weapons, his vulnerability is stuck between ranges of "he'll just hurt you". He's a deliberately polarizing enemy that even the fans of him should admit that his inclusion can turn off fans. Its not a "git gud" thing for all of us, its about a balance with a deliberately convoluted enemy, where some of his elements like the hidden rule of shield-shooting spawns the dog just lacks any intuitive sense. He's a weird design, and you can love or hate his inclusion. Still one of my favorite games this year, and I've learned to cope with the Marauder and dispatch him fine enough, but I would prefer he got a re-tuning. Personally my two favorites of the year were Ghost of Tsushima, and the aforementioned Doom Eternal. But I don't say either too heavily, because in general the year didn't strike me as a major 2020 year full of gaming. Rather I was just chaotically going around, playing a variety of things, with one of my biggest entries being onto Hollow Knight, or simply returning to Dark Souls, and Dishonored. There's not really a strong list in my head of big 2020 releases, just a bunch of fun games. ...but Tsushima was great with how it balanced combat, colors, and tapped back into a love of Samurai history (or at least comparisons between history and its romanticized fiction)

I thought about that, but because I'm not 100% sold on the background, I'm going to leave it unshaded for now as it lets him stick out with the background I have now as it's rather dark, if I switch to a brighter background that I'm happy with, then I'm shading him

I have to disagree with you on Doom eternal, i think the marauder is really easy once you know his opening. Can he be boring to fight? Sometimes but he's not hard at all even on UV otherwise keep up the work dude, I've enjoyed your videos for years

I've been slowly rolling out a rebrand of the channel, I used to do videos like the people you mentioned, but I want to give something of a personality to my videos. Fat, white dude thats balding like no tomorrow? Seen it a thousand times. Albino armadillo? Its different and unique to the channel
