Yep he is great … I love his entertainment…. And a lot of times he just uses junk scraps to show you quickly how it’s done … practice on low cost wood before ever attempting the expensive stuff … it definitely helps me a lot … over time we all get better and then the sky is the limit .. and with so many great wood workers to learn from is great .
@WedoweeHandyman9 ай бұрын
@@thomaschandler4831 I couldn’t agree more that starting with cheaper woods in the beginning does save on costs when learning trying new things. I work with a lot of rough cut sawmills lumber and it’s less money but the trade off is it takes more time and there is more waste to work thru. With that being said you also learn different aspects than if you buy s4s for example.

Awesome build. With this, imo, you hit rustics and city folk but also contemporary types as well. And this is well worth over 100 just bc you hit three huge markets. It would had been much better overall to auction it off for your favorite charity. Or even change it up, since it’s all scrap, though you did do a lot of dreaming and time making it, donate the money to your final customers choose of charities, within your sense.

I like that, Daniel. I have some cutting board offcuts that I might be able to do something like that with. Where do you find hardwoods? I'm from Awendaw, grew up in Hobcaw Point, and never found any hardwoods. Did buy some ash from Southern Lumber back in the late 60s, but never found anything but construction lumber back home. I live in Savannah now and have a nice little local lumberyard, but there's nothing like them in Charleston County that I know of.

Enjoy the video! But, why is every creator “stuck on” what will SELL - no one wants to make cool stuff that is cool- most creators are “confused “ about what will sell due to individual markets, customers, and other factors- saying I will make $10k from this “item” makes the influencer look like a grifter- just enjoy making cool stuff- sell it if you want too-
@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks9 ай бұрын
When have I ever said you’d make 10k , it’s a simple title saying these projects sell , and I explain cost break downs for those interested and I also say in my videos pretty often if you’re not in it to make money then I hope you get inspiration, it’s inspiration I’m trying to give not a sell’s coarse , I have viewers that like the sell aspect and the creative inspiration aspect so this is why I meet them both in the middle. Hope that makes sense , my friend . Thanks for the feedback . Skäl 🫡
