Rap Critic you sound like you’re stuck deep down in that woke rabbit hole, brother. People saying he's offbeat are dumdums. It's off kilter (he doesn't connect his words to the kicks and snares of the beat) but not offbeat. Offbeat would mean he's rapping faster or slower than the beat, which is not the case cause you can clearly hear he always fits one line into one bar (musical bar). He has a weird flow but that's fine. Even some legends like RZA, Doom and Pharoahe Monch use weird flows. I still think his music is trash but he's not offbeat.

Alot of people have actually called him racist just for being a white rapper with braids its a simple thing that happens not as racially discriminating as black people not being accepted into jobs because they are placed in a minority but it is something that is looked upon as an issue like eminem was discriminated hard as fuck because he was white and like tom he made way on issues like the president or in toms case in politically correct people who are sensitive against true statements. And if you wanna talk about personally then why don't you take. A look at a lot of black rappers who arent being dicriminated because of their race its just that they suck or push it too much the fact the logic says hes mixed every 30 seconds is not helpful and is the reason why he gets discriminated because he screams it out like black pride is always the main thing tom is a little bit self conscious and he needs to work on that if he wants to become a succesful rapper i just feel like people judged it too much

Yeah, that “White Boy” song... mega yikes. The “pretty blue eyes” line was weird, yes, but that line about how people should only hate on the richest white people is a major deflection. This dude has clearly never taken a hard look at himself or anyone around him, and quite frankly, he’s offended that you asked him to, damn you, he’s ALREADY PERFECT! I’m sure everyone has met someone like this in their lives... they have a cartoonish view of morality as “bad people” doing “bad things,” and since they don’t do what those they’ve deemed “bad” do (like killing people or whatever) then they are “good” and don’t need to improve. “Why worry about ME,” they say, “when there are NEO-NAZIS and GLOBAL CONSPIRATORS and GENOCIDAL DICTATORS in the world??? I’M not a genocidal dictator, so no improvement necessary!” 🙄 If anyone’s interested, my favorite writing resource, Springhole, actually does a much better job of explaining this: springhole.net/writing/character-morality-and-ethics.htm

The breakdown in Rap Devil would’ve been more clever if Nylon showed up in the first half of the album and Rap Devil showed up in the second half of the album where attentive listeners can recognize it and think “Oh cool, I remember this part from that Nylon song.”

Bruh Drake actually been with his kid for a while and woulda revealed on his own terms if it weren’t for Pusha. “ she said do u love me I tell her only partly I only love Mahbed(Drake sons middle name) and my Mama Im sorry” He legit mentioned his kids name. Nobody knows Cole had kids or a girl till he mentioned it. I bet if Cole and Push beefed then he could do the same to Cole then too huh

How in the world is it possible for these awful human beings to have a more devoted following and supportive fanbase then...Xzibit? Yes Xzibit, one of the greatest and most innovative rappers of all time that recently been spending years upon years trying to get his fans back by releasing masterpiece after masterpiece. But guess how many streams his highest charting single got? Barely 200k. Pls everyone do yourself a favor and go bump Xzibit latest EP called "Serial Killers". It's a raw and brutal work of art which deserves way more attention then all these fake gimmicks.
@isalt56 жыл бұрын
I gave "Serial Killers" a listen earlier today. While it's worth a listen, I feel that the descending noise detracted from the beat-work and, to some degree, the song itself. It could've been better without it.

No surprise that “I’m Upset” would be included in this list. I wish I could’ve had more time to delve deeper into the lyrics when I talked about the song in my Top 10 Worst Hit Songs of 2018 video, but I’m glad someone else was able to do that.

3:12 "Rap critic" I've been watching you for years there is a difference between taking your time to think about something (especially if it's a heavy question) Vs just being dumbfounded. Now music may be your territory, but politics, along with debate tactics, and body language is mine. I feel this was an undercooked / overall unnecessary shot. Be careful with the political comments, not everyone agrees. Even me being black doesn't mean we all agree.
@justintmckinley6 жыл бұрын
Why would you have to think about a question like “why does *insert name* care about a group of people as human beings.” Not something that should be pondered, if it as evident as Kanye makes it seem.

Remember when Drake said " I could never have a kid and be out here still kidding round". On Portland. I laughed sooooooooo hard.
@dysperdotted6 жыл бұрын
let’s also talk about how drake tried his hardest to make that “i was hiding the world from my kid line” about shit it was not by stating that he knows all of these people that - get this. - use twitter that try to get karma points by telling sob stories! and even worse, people addicted to their phones! oh no! he doesn’t do anything to prove why these meaningless girls he’s mentioning are important to whatever message he’s going to spout out at the end of the verse or whatnot. but on top of that, i would have been so much more lukewarm to this lyric if he didn’t try to make it about *him.* him and *his* very real and immoral issues that he got exposed for and now wants to try and frame on us. that’s being emotionally manipulative and i won’t stand for it. and judging by the critics, nobody else will either.

I think the worst line in "White Boy" is the "f-ing waste of energy" one. It's so bad because Tom pushes aside the the fact that racism is...wrong with him basically saying "My time is too precious to waste on racism! If I only had more time I could be racist, but my schedule is really tight!" "F-ing waste of energy". GOD. So bad...

I don’t get the white gig thing on here. He seems to be talking about shit from way back and not understanding why people still use that as a excuse to be racist towards him or, blame him. If anything money equals power. We have proven that time and, time again.
