For the doomslayer build i genuinely think the shock maul is the best combo with the shotgun. You can force buls to open their shield even from the front then use shotgun. And it stuns ragers. The shock maul is great for this but hard to use with other ranged weapons bc youre gonna be at range most of the time and not get the maul off. But with the shotgun you wont need high melee dps just the gun.

power sword is OP with power cycler(tier 4 weapon perk for +2 charged attacks = 3 total) and weapon alternate ability/charge binded to mouse button

I run smoke %5speed VOC WS, plasma + rashad and it's pretty insane. plasma isn't really great at dealing with a lot of shooters at once, and smoke solves that while giving you an opportunity to push. Since you are melee focused your ammo consumption is low but that doesn't stop you from doing your specialist duties as a vet. It does give up some range damage so you need good headshot% and rolls but it slays. I'm thinking of going for swap speed/5% tough on kill cause you use it like a revolver with this build.

The Infernus Lasgun build is a winner of course. But... I'll try it with my trusty Chainaxe with Bloodletter & Thunderous. Because it can delete bosses and monstrosities too all on its' own and maybe you could run out of ammo. :)

Ive been using a revolver build but with voice of the emperor (so the team doesnt hate me XD) and weapon specialist. The slow reload on the revolver synergizes so well with weapon specialist just like the shotgun, i take agile combatant as well so its just constant melee kill or two - shot rinse repeat, never need to worry about reloading. To me it feels the most "pistol and sword" build ive seen and been a blast.

The plasma gun is like SSSS tier whichever keystone, build, melee, don’t matter. There is no other gun that trivializes the game like the plasma.

@@MisterEtide I think the infernus is good no doubt. But a grey plasma gun in an average players hands will out do a god tier player with an infernus. That gun is just so insane, screen clearing elites & specialists in seconds while still having crazy ammo economy post survivalist nerf.

You know, i do agree with you there. It is a build (or weapon, the weapon sort of makes the build in this case) that singlehandledly can elevate you to clearing higher tiers of content. Just by virtue of erasing most threats in a single shot, and not needing headshots or anything fancy to do work. Consider it honorary S tier, though i wont republish the video :P

why the combat knife and not a chain melee that has bloodletter? im new to vet and am just curious. is there something about the speed or the knife moves that i am not utilizing? cause it seems like i am not efficient with it. im also only half way down the talent tree.

knife allows you to attack and apply its bleeds very quickly, and you can use its heavy attacks to move faster and get away from enemies. chain melees are very clunky to rev up and their bleeds only apply to the single target hit, knife bleeds apply to all enemies hit with all attacks

I don't agree on your take on the plasma gun. Maybe I'm biased because I played it way too much (filthy meta slave), but here's my opinion about it. First off, it's not a bad thing, you WANT heat, to benefit from "Get's hot" crit. Wasting a blessing for 'less heat generation' is... just not good. If you're good at venting at over 90%, your damage uptime will not "suffer". And even if you're bad at it, your dps will still be double that of any other weapon available. In no way heat puts plasma behind other weapons. You don't have ammo issues if you don't shoot at trash mobs (but yes, trash mobs are a plague to plasma/revolver users) Simply tap fire instead of charging shots; the ratio [ammo efficiency:dps increase] of charged shots is just terrible (kinda wish they changed that). Survivalist nerf hits hard, but plasma is still in the game, it's just less braindead (still is tho). The only shots you want to charge for a quarter of a second are against Crushers, but they're not even needed. And again, heat is not an issue, you will NEVER die from overheat by using LMB spam, it's only possible by charging shots. Which is why you also want blaze away (8%power x5 stacks), even more after the patch if it gets a tier 4 variant. Which blessing you hsould replace? You have confirmed kill in the tree. Glory hunter blessing is good, but more that what's necessary. Blaze away. Finally, voice of command everyday. Executioner's stance is pretty much a waste on a weapon with no sway/spread, the 25% damage is only relevant against crushers/monstrosities... it's mostly just for seing enemies easier. It sure is fun, but surviving is funnier.

I know you want heat- this new blessing will let you fire a lot more shots at high heat before having to break to cool a bit. It also has a couple other blessings coming that are super powerful. I waffled between putting it S tier and A, and as i said in the video VOC is definitely the optimal choice. Would not recommend copying my build for that gun as i haven’t updated it in a while

What curios are you running on the Doomslayer build? I got a "Doomguy" build too, but it pales compared to my Big Iron build, which differs from yours cause I still keep Voice Of Command... Not really a knife user, I'm a faithful chainsword/ripper user, but using the alt of the shovel in the Big Iron build is glorious, you can one-shot crusher and do heavy damage on bosses easily with it, plus it clears hordes good, not as good as the chainsword, but good enough.

I believe it is two toughness one stamina. All have gunner resist, toughness, and stamina regen.

@@MisterEtide I ended up using wound, stamina and health, all with health and toughness buff, with some gunner resist too as the ones unmodified. Great build indeed! Made it way better than the one I was running. Just waiting to get Manstopper and Both Barrels, I got it on my Zealot and it's a MONSTER of a build. Just got to get used to the weapon switching, never ran Weapon Specialist before lol

I was wondering why you had ranked the revolver at B tier. More so than almost any weapon the Zarona benefits from weapon specialist and it definitely needs hand cannon. With a properly crafted revolver the only thing exec stance does is give you the potential to one tap crushers and do some extra boss damage. Not that I think VoC is a bad choice for the recon build because... well it's not I mean the ability is busted. I'd recommend trying out exec stance instead as the dps boost it gets is insane. Your instantaneous defence suffers but with all the vets toughness on ranged weakspot kills etc I don't think it's really so so bad. One final build I think you should actually check out as it's pretty funny is the vet grenadier build. Someone noticed that Lethal Proximity (the blessing that increases the explosive radius by 25% on the bolt pistol) applies to grenades too. With all the grenade perks set up your frag grenades will have a 15m explosion radius, basically an ogryn nuke every 2 minutes. Cool video as always.

I dont rank the revolver B, i rank executioners builds in general B, for the reason you said, it doesn’t offer much outside of killing some things even harder. Revolver is an S weapon or maybe A, definitely one of the best special killers you can bring.

I hate alot, that full range build on executioners is so bad due to the point the ult plays so bad and the range tree has literally 0 toughmess in it. So you suffer from lowest thoughness at start + 0 surivability in your ult. It is such a fkin shame. I hate what they did to veteran after update 13. He feels sooo fkin forced on a hybrid, when in the past it was the zealot. But yea just check the skill tree and you see what fatshark wants/forces you to play. A shame.

Thats how i did it, but you can also pick it up on a low level character you make specifically to farm it, for the TRUE no life experience

@kinggrimmjow8980 When you are low level you can only get tier 1, then tier 2 blessings. So you can craft manstopper at hadron, whereas a level 30 char can only craft 3s and 4s
