The Town Below was the name of an Urban Legend, when we were kids. “If you go to the underground bunker, and walk the halls until you get lost, you’ll eventually come to a room with nothing but mirrors. There are twelve mirrors, 3 of them broken now. Once you arrive, if one of the mirrors is black, you can step through it and enter the Town Below. If all of the mirrors are whole… well, nobody knows what happens then”. You’ve been gone for a long time, so getting that text message… I thought it was a joke, until you left a voicemail. Your voice sounded different, probably because you grew up, but you still sounded like… you. You and I both know that the Town Below is real, because that’s where I lost you. I remember that we entered, we had to have been 14, and we didn’t want to come back… but I had to. You know I had to. But you didn’t. I tried to find my way back there. I tried to find the Mirror Room. But I couldn’t find it. Now, I’m standing in front of a room full of mirrors, all of them whole, but the dark mirror is still there, and it’s still as frightening as it was when you pulled me through the first time. I think I know why I could never find it once you were gone. I couldn’t find it because I had everything to lose, and you… you didn’t. Maybe, this time, I won’t come back. This time, I want to stay with you.

An almost childlike jingle accompanied by the chilling tones of the town. She’s there but can’t see the evil since she hasn’t exactly done anything wrong like james or is there for any traumatic moments like Angela.

love your take on it, i think it could be fitting for laura for sure! i tried to make the track give the vibe of looking over the observation deck at silent hill for the first time, but its sort of fogged over and shrouded in mystery :)
