@@v.v.9.9.personally I don't like girls with make-up, edges nails that are way too long and anything they do to "fit in" and lose a sense of individuality that I can't differentiate her from the rest. Ego turns me on. But that's speaking in general, we tend to be more blunt and hurtful when speaking in general and when we don't have any emotional attachment, still it doesn't mean if we get to know someone on a deeper level with a great personality who treats us better than everyone else then all we claim to rule out is just bs talk that we forget about. So we date them without issue. But I've learnt not to comment on natural looks and things people can't change about themselves without exercise & diet. With the internet we've grown too comfortable commenting on looks then going on about our day forgetting there are people who can't escape their wrong circles what's said influence then on a deeper level... In order words be yourself there'll always be people that like you for you and you can't please everyone. Be selective on who matters in your life & why.

I love rap. So so much. However women in hip hop are sooooo hyper sexualized and subject to all types of misogyny. I respect the women who are standing out against the normalization of procedures like this, and really the beauty standard issue goes across gender. As male hip hop enjoyers we gotta do better and not only give women they hype over how they look NATURALLY, but also appreciate them for more than just a big ass. Shoutout coi Leray

At this rate male rappers are slowly gonna be having as much work done as the females. But for me, the Kpop industry still takes the cake. If you don’t have work done some companies don’t even wanna sign you, male or female. There’s one beauty standard and if you don’t fit the mould, male or female, it’s quiet for you. 🤐

All those are contributing factors but at the end of the day we’re all adults who can make their own executive decisions. It’s like when people keep using childhood trauma to excuse their actions. YOU ARE IN CONTROL OF YOUR OWN LIFE. There’s people who’ve been through the worst and more and still don’t feel the need to go that far. It takes a deep level of commitment and self to completely alter your appearance.

It’s so crazy seeing women who were publicly praised and envied for their natural looks decide to get loads of plastic surgery. I mean none of that stuff can fix your self-image when it’s hardwired in your head but it’s still really sad to see. Nicki seemingly came on the scene with a BBL and I always knew about Lil Kim but seeing Sza pop back up recently with a butload of plastic surgery from the BBL to the Botox and face stuff was super disheartening. She was gorgeous, all of these women were, and most women are-and I don’t think a little change here and there is a huge problem. But for some reason that little introductory session leads to a snowball effect where they just keep going and going. And the real problem is it creates a beauty standard made of women who were already abnormally attractive getting made to look even “better,” so now it’s completely insane. Hopefully it goes back down to a normal state, but it seems like it’s only ever going to get worse
