underestimating the value of buying toys vs buying groceries reminds me of those people who tell Elon Musk: "instead of building rockets to have fun and colonize Mars, why don't you spend money to help poor people on Earth?". Look farther, that's not just a toy, and that's not just a rocket. It's about passion, inspiration, good memories, and the reason we live. Of course one can decide that a particular toy is not worth 50 bucks, that's fine, but this thing of "being adults, bills, groceries, etc.", nah. It can be a toy, a stamp, a plant, a watch, a pair of shoes or a rocket, but we should look farther at what it actually means. In fact, probably we would often find that a new smartphone is not really worth the money even if we look farther, that would wake us up.

I loved V. I used to watch the show and the miniseries. I didnt know they had a toy... but I had a Robocop figure that came out in the late 80's that had a removable helmet. I used his helmet on one of my GIjoe figures and pretended he was a "V" Trooper. I rewatched the V miniseries just last year and its still just as cool as I remembered

WOW those 80's plastic costumes lol. I have pictures of me back like 86 with a Chuck Norris one on lol. They made everything that was hot in pop culture into one of those masks, i'll never forget the plastic smell that came off of them lol.
