Two things. A: The footage was shot two years ago and I (Billy) look like a fuck. B: The interview footage was shot 2 months ago, and yes I did die my beard black, and yes I look like a fuck. Also doesnt help that the colors were off on the camera. So just get it out of your system if you need to talk about these "important" issues by commenting on THIS thread. Stand alone comments on this subject matter will be deleted. Not going to have half the comment section on this video about my beard.

yo you guys. im from the uk and we all went mad for all that 80s goodness bk in the day. me and my 2 brothers collected all the big early to mid 80s toy franchises. gi-joe..he-man..thundercats..mask..transformers..visionaries etc. still got them all 2 minus the odd leg and missing accessory here and there. we also got a lot of europe only releases to which you guys didnt get. glad i went out into the yard or wherever we was playing afterwards looking for all the figures and vehicles accesssories making sure none went missing. our toys arent boxed but they are all complete and in excellent condidtion considering their age. love both of your shows. big retro game fan 2. please do this for many years and please get jay some pepto bismol..antacid or some shit.. that dude burps more than feckin barney gumble. oh in the words of the crimson guard tomax and xamot.. Amazing. I'm glad Aire finally let some people see her whole collection! I have almost everything ever released stateside, but some of these things, like the Argen 7 knockoff Joes, were produced in numbers less than 100. Although I have no interest in them for my own collection, I understand their "mystique" and appeal and really appreciate being able to see all this. Many of these items are things no one would ever expect to see in person. Thanks, guys!

Probably my favorite Toy Chasers episode yet!! Brought back so many childhood memories with my friends and our GI Joes and that is one amazing collection!!! Quite sad that for some reason as an older kid I sold off all of my vehicles except for one, the Slugger, the self propelled cannon vehicle. Have all of my figures and just about all of their accessories but only that one vehicle. Same with my Star Wars collection, all the figures I still have but the vehicles and play sets all gone, :( But this episode made me smile with glee!!! Great job!!

I am really impressed, the lady is an organizing talent. Imagine how other collectors would let their collection rot in some dirty old place, she kept them nice and even displayed them, having them hanging from walls or in their original boxes. Painted the walls of the attic and build some rocks and all. If someone has a passion for a reason, it really shows. And seeing her trying to put all of it into something for everyone, she is a genuinely good person.

Toys R Us has got NOTHING on that place. Holy shit. If you take a second to fantasize what some parallel dimension might cook up, you'd go to some random toy store and you'd ask if they had anything else in the back and they'd show you that place and your head would explode. That attic has to be one of the coolest of all time.

Man her house has triple the stock of my local toys r us i bet... Its the sort of toy series collection you would love to have but the hoarding seems like it would get to me as you would never be able to sort it out. I have a lego collection that fills up the space under my bed and would love to rebuild all of the loose sets and i have the instructions to do it but it will probably never happen. At least until i am their age and have a stable income to spend some money onmy hobbies. Side note: I would love to have a beyblade collection with all the cool plastic gens beyblades i wanted as a kid or had as a kid. It is funny as plastic gens wasn't really around when i was at the appropriate age as metal gen took over. I would also do a proper lego collection but i know that the old lego sets and the series i only have a few sets for are gonna need a fortune to complete the series :P Especially with the discontinued lego series...

It is weird being the youngest in a family of 3 older brothers yet none of them were that into toys as kids and when i was at an age to even know what these older 90s toys were, they were no longer made yet they went on for so long. Modern toys just don't give me the same coolness factor that these vintage toys that were made years before i was even born... All of my toys from the early 90s are 1 of a sort as they are are just standalone stuff from one series and then another series.
@TOKYOTOYBANZAI8 жыл бұрын
GI JOE also spawned one of the most expansive action figure toy lines in Japan. Henshin Cyborg and Microman. Microman was even later brought over to the USA as the Micronauts in the mid-late 70's and actually predate the 3 3/4 GI Joe figures.
@TOKYOTOYBANZAI8 жыл бұрын
Microman (born from Henshin Cyborg which was born from the original 12" GI JOE), also spawned Microchange and Diaclone, which became Transformers.

Subbed for the video games, but I like this kind of stuff too. Don't really have the time, desire or money to collect toys, but I do have a few things from my childhood (pokemon cards/figures, most of my Star Wars toys, Lego, and a few random figures that I've bought recently for cheap like a Mega Man figure, a couple of Alien/Predator vinyl figures etc). Always interesting to see the toys that other people were into. I did have some Joes when I was a kid, but I was a 90s kid, so other than the few older figures I had or friends or the babysitter had, what I mainly remember were my Warthog (big green WW2 style plane with lights, sound and a propellor that rotated) and probably my favourite was a rather squarish, German looking tank that had (probably) a bad guy driver with khaki pants and a black shirt/hat (googling tells me it was the Sgt Savage Iron Panther Tank). Also pretty sure that the Warthog came with a VHS tape of a random episode featuring that plane. Anyway, keep it up!
