Fix the rear main seal, sell the accord for 2000 o 1500, get a 22re , a 2.7 or nissan z24.

The rusty belt has some cheap 3rd gens you can probably rip the drive train out of since the frames are no good anymore

first of all saying the 22R is trash is quite a statement given the history and love for the engine. Ive personally used the 22R for years and will call it an all time favourite. It comes from a time where power wasn't everything. Actually the R series engines can make plenty power with boost. I like it non turbo for the classic experience. That said, the "F23" aka 2.3L is equally legendary. But Id like to understand how you plan to install this engine because, like any Honda 4 Cylinder before 2002 this engine turns counter clockwise. And there are no transmission options for rwd. Especially if youre planning for 4wd. Its not going to happen youd be better off with a K series although even that is a massive undertaking requiring alot of skill and budget. Id say, if you really want respect from the yota community do a proper 22R build. Its a more capable truck than meets the eye.

Hi bro I love this build in southern Africa we prefer the Toyota Y series engines on these builds because of their low maintenance and widely available parts
