I would like Howard Pincus to know how much respect I have for him. In 1996, Howard gave me my first locomotive cab ride on the GE 45 Ton switcher #42. He also allowed me into the cab of RS3 529 for a ride through Torrington. Howard is a great man. Joan Jackson also deserves a nod. It is a shame she is not in this video because she truly loved her job and worked very hard at the Thomaston Station. Thank you Howard and Joan. Howard, I hope there is no bad blood between us. People disagree occasionally, but I never meant any disrespect to you personally. Riding with you aboard the 42 that chilly day back in 1996 is an experience I will never forget.

We defiantly need a train to transport to Waterbury, is there any way that the New England Rail Museum transport the public in transit to Waterbury for commuters? There would be plenty of people that work in the city and that would take the train, and grants could be gotten through the state seeing as though the state does own the tracks can't they pay the NERM maybe? I love trains and fascinated by them and I would and I know alot of other people would love to ha e the train in Torrington and it could help out NERM. Would live to here other's thought on this idea.

I like the engine from Birmingham running in CT, my former home...That engine sat around downtown B'ham for years until it was restored...I am glad they restored it. Now all Howard has to do is restore the line to Winsted, and get more Budd Cars...but, they have to have the Hancock air chimes or it is not official...
