I remember that name gunning me down last week. I was getting some metals durning extract. On my way back. R1 K2 died. All there was is a Green G4. Gantzthedemon was actually an innocent, managed democratic, loyal Helldiver like all of us. The guy who posted the tiktok of Gantz killing the guy was after the guy that was killed team-wiped his own squad, Gantzthedemon was simply killing the traitor, since his Democracy Officer was not there and the traitor was being aggressive. The reason no other kills were shown in the clip is because the dude who posted the tiktok killed them, but not before one could call in the reinforcement of Gantz, the last reinforcement before the budget ran out. "Then why didn't the guy who posted try to kill Gantz?" It's because he didn't want to be seen as a traitor, and framed Gantz. But don't target the guy who posted it or Gantz, depending on who you believe. I'm sure both of them are nice guys in real life.

Imagine having a mission that involves a "rogue" squad, that drops in as the 'bots spoofs or masks Helldiver codes, in an effort to have units fight each other, but a side objective stops that code, and the 2 squads can finish clearing the area. I’d be interested in a mechanic where they incorporate some dissension into the game. So we respawn as a completely different person every time; I think that could be used to incorporate a “dissenters market” into the game where they give a currency for friendly fire that’s only awarded at the end of an extraction. Think of it like you share a serial number and locker with the guy you replace, and find some stuff when you get back from the mission at your locker with a note like “keep up the good work” and superearth logistics either doesn’t care or tells you to play along while they continue to investigate

I think they should introduce a system for traitors,like if you team kill a lot you get a chance to join a rouge squad of traitor helldivers. These traitor helldivers would be able to join a squads game and hunt them down as their objective. If the traitor wins and extracts then he gets a lot of loot,if the helldivers kill the traitor then the helldivers get a lot of loot. I think being invaded by a traitor would be pretty stressful so maybe they would add an option to the mission for no traitors to drop in and hunt you.

This has got me thinking, and i think the idea of a rogue element of HellDivers would be an interesting easter egg to have in the game. I don't know if that idea should be a whole new army, but it would be interesting if they were bounty-hunter like, having a chance to randomly appear to either kill, or delay the Helldivers.

I've luckily only encountered one genuine teamkiller in helldivers so far. as a newer player as of writing this I dont have the shield backpack unlocked. so when I spotted a shield backpack left on the ground I picked it up to try it out. I was then immediately team killed by incendiary rounds and the guy picked up the backpack (I assume the original owner) if they had asked for me to give it back I would have, but instead got instantly gunned down. I didnt retaliate and just finished the mission, blocking the account

We might have had the same asshole encounter.....or something similar. All 3 of my teammates were in their mechs so I picked up the spare sheild pack that was being unused while we defended extract. The instant I picked it up, asshole host killed me. He was in his mech and was too low a lvl to even want it. Kept killing me over and over, while his teammates kept respawning me. Then kicked me immediately after the extraction. I don't even understand why he got so pissed, him and his buddies were in their FUCKING mechs and I didnt have mine so I needed the extra protection and none of them went for it. Assholes man. What if at some point, the devs implement a mechanic that gives the illusion of teammates looking like the enemy. Even so far as to have a bot copy of your teammate running around shooting. Like an exact copy, same armor guns ect. So obviously you wouldn't think you are TKing. But it was mind manipulation... or if there were opinional side missions of treason. Like you can get 100 SC if you plant bugs/ sabotage a mission. But it would have to be done so a team could call out the saboteur and have them taken for treason if they are found out. And to preemptively stop everyone from calling out a traitor right away, you would be penalized if you accuse an innocent Diver. The saboteur could have mission exclusive shadowed statigems like giving away your position or calling in a dropship to your location. Only the best players would be able to pull this off without looking super suspicious. And it wouldn't help to go Gantz on your team. 😂 Just love posting these fun hypotheticals.

Imagine, if this eventually gives the developers an idea to start a civil war within the Helldivers, with Gantz being the figurehead for the insurgents against Super Earth. Some in world politics where the rebels want change from "managed democracy", which if you look at definitions and implications, would be reasonable to fight against. Unfortunately for myself, that would be another similarity to my own work as a fictional writer that is too big to overlook (as one smaller similarity is the name of the primary conflict in the game and in my work, the "galactic war"), but it would be very interesting nonetheless.

You should do a deep dive into Helldiver 2 lore (that which is known) and ask... Are helldivers unwitting pawns in a false flag war created and maintained by Super Earth's shadowy Managed Democracy? Basically, who are the actual 'bad guys'...in the game reality? Also lift the veil of 'Managed Democracy' and examine what that actually means.

This kind of stuff is the reason I never play on public unless I host. I don't kick anyone. If they seem to be intentionally killing me or others, I just put on a show and start playing "objectively horde shooter 3000". No more extraction, no more objectives, no more samples, just mindless shooting onto enemies while I catch up on my shows. Good luck extracting, and thanks for the hard work on the samples if you do. A Guy had an SOS up and was killing his teammates for their gear and then kicking them from the mission, only to do it again to other people. I just had the same thing happen to me just now,they called in an air strike on 2 of us and killed me with his gun,then he grabbed my samples and extracted. xXJOKERXx07_.he did not know anyone of us.disrespectful

I had somebody join my game with that same name, killed two of us while we were waiting in the Pelican. I kicked him before he got on so he wouldn't get mission completion credits. Normally I wouldn't really care but my squad was filled with low level beginners and that's not fair to them, especially since I had most of the samples. I hadn't noticed that it was an actual trend that was starting, I just figured it was a one time thing. I only happened to recognize the username so I decide to comment. I don't know how long this has been happening for but it was several weeks ago by now that it happened to me

Had similar issues happened to me, not fun. It seems like it is becoming more common to troll and grief. Like I asked this higher level, why did he join me just to grief. His response is, "Why not just a game + team killing is fun, especially at the end. Some people see PvE games and try turning them into PvP. Safe to say, not playing with randoms sick the toxic people
