I broke my neck in 2021, I lost most usable function before the neck. I fainted in my driveway, landed funky and ended up snapping C4 & C5. I started to lose the ability to swallow the night before I finally got surgery. It was really the only time I got scared. I’m now able to walk and am so freaking grateful. I couldn’t afford physical therapy so I had to do it myself. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. I’m now an ambulatory wheelchair user and so stinking proud of myself!

I was 14 years old when Superman first came out - the right age to watch a movie of that kind.

I'm always knew that the first Superman in history was George Reeves from 1952 to 1958. He was not related to Christopher cause George Reeve was not his real name, he was the Superman in my time, but I red that there's was another before him and his name was Kirk Alyn. Christopher Reece was a great actor and my favorite Superman, what happened to him was really sad and learn that after been fighting for his life finally he passed was to hard and sad for me. R.I.P.

actually didnt take everything. It didnt take this man his strenght , his will to survive, his endurance and resilience. Chris Reeves was the best superman inside and outside the screen. He did more for research and for people that had the same fate than 2 supermen would do together. Great , talented and handsome man.

such a life. He was so brave in the light of the tragedy. I remember seeing the actual footage of his accident, but I can't find it anymore, those scenes of people falling off of horses are NOT Reeve. Here, they don't go into his relationship with Jane Seymour , which was also a large chunk of his personal life. 😇💗

Middle aged man riding horses that jump is simply not the smart thing to be doing. Similar thing happened with Ron Turcott and many other jockeys. Its a young man's game. Reeves got both his hands caught up in the bridal reins and couldn't get them free to break his fall and his head took the hit. Broke his neck & then he couldn't breathe! Fortunately paramedics got to him before brain damage occurred. Beyond sad such a freak accident.
