@@Karenanneseven It’s a disgrace to Sabine’s memory. He should have zero choice in the matter. The courts gave him the final word in this instance. Her family and loved ones deserved better. Random killings are always some of the ones that hit me the hardest. Nearly 9 years ago a friend of mine was simply volunteering at a gallery and crossing a low speed limit street. Out of nowhere, a stolen car barreled through and hit and killed her. They haven't been caught to this day. Love your channel man. Keep up the good work. Just a quick edit to say thank you everyone for the kind words. Hug your family and friends close, tragedy can happen anytime. Taking a positive lesson from a negative experience is, in my opinion, one of the best ways to "bounce back" as they say. Much love to all! ❤️

this isn’t comparable to your situation at all, but just yesterday i was about two minutes away from a woman who was hit and killed by a car. i didn’t know her personally but the fact it happened so close by and that i frequently drive on the road she passed away on just breaks my heart. i can’t imagine how that experience must have been for you. i’m so terribly sorry to you and your friend and their family. people who are capable of doing those things make me absolutely sick. much love to you and yours ❤️

I woke up, had a bowl of cereal, turned on the news, and saw her picture. Kind of hard to describe how you feel so many emotions, yet completely numb at the same time. The change needs to start from the families and the way sons are raised. There are too many of these men babies around who grow up arrogant and entitled because since a young age their parents never said "no" to them and were treated like little princes... they become adults who can't handle rejections and throw a tantrum every time they aren't pleased and things don't go as they wanted to. Sounds like it. His ex-wife worked in the hotel and had been living there since leaving him, so it appears he checked in either to harass her or get closer to her. He then planned to go to Brighton and find someone to have sex with, but instead, inexplicably drove all the way up to London and to a random area he'd literally never been to before. We'll never know why and he has never explained it. If he'd just hired an escort in Brighton then this all would likely never have happened.

@@scheezy I wonder if he means not alone relationship wise? I am not too sure, but this my assumption? If this is the case, this wouldn't always hold to be true. I can see someone who doesn't realize their value being with abusive men. One may not know what abuse is because one may think that it is the norm. I didn't know what abuse was until I educated myself on it. Even in the old times, being hit with a ruler or a belt could of been seen as tough love. Luckily, times are changing and individuals are educating themselves. It won't be long for abusive and violent men to end up alone in their elder years because who wants to be around such behaviours in their elder days? I know someone who is abusive and has been alone. Basically pushed out everyone out by his behaviour. One may be able to use their looks or charm on someone young, but as one gets older, it gets difficult for individuals from the dark triad to be able to put in the effort of faking their behaviour. Eventually individuals will get tired of the treatment and leave. I have seen elderly turn worse in their old age. Examples of this is cases where they are put in the hospital for medical reasons or in a senior facility and they treat the staff horribly.

Even if someone heard or saw something strange, doesn’t mean they would’ve called the police and reported it. I’ve seen so many instances of, for example, DV in public places and not one person called to report it. There was even a uhh I guess, idea these people had (idr who now) like a social experiment, to pretend to be arguing in public. All they got around them was a crowd that watched or just people who ignored it completely. Not everyone has common decency.

During the periods of lockdown, there really seems to have a lot of cases like this. Unsure whether that's because of restrictions of violent men acting out, or because these things were more noticeable when we were all inside. There was a teenage girl murdered by her own family during the same period in my home town that shook everyone up in local area. Which, the area I grew up in was always a bit dodgy, especially the area where the girl lived, even so, murder is not really something that would happen around there, despite kind of people around. I just have a sense of fury and sadness and grief, so many women lose their lives in senseless ways. Where I live in Texas we have low crime rates. I remember a total of 4 murders in my 24 years of living here. I don't feel uneasy about being at the park or the river at night. I am always aware of my surroundings and what goes on around me. The guy that took this young lady's life is a psychotic monster. Just because he was angry doesn't give him the right to steal another person life. I would have been looking all around if I was in that park. I would have made eye contact with him. If he had attacked me I would have fought and gone right for his groin area and then his throat. I've learned something valuable about watching this channel. Criminals look for easy prey when selecting a person to attack. Helpful tips for everyone to cut down your chances of being a victim. 1) Be aware and alert of what's going on around you. 2) Be confident. 3) Make eye contact and let them know that you know they are around. 4) Go by your gut feeling. If something doesn't feel right get out of there. (Better safe than sorry) 5) If attacked assume you are fighting for your life and go for the eyes, throat, heart, groin, kneecaps etc. 6) Never give up. Make them feel that you're not worth the risk. I hope these tips help.

It's kind of hypocritical that men are criticized for their violence but expected to be capable of it and enjoy it to an extent. If not they are humiliated for being "weak" in fact a weak male is far more likely to be struck and beat and the perpetrator is unlikely to pull punches. Almost as if to say "you deserve this for being so weak" Gotta remember, men are pushed around and seen as disposable by society, it's not as nice to them as they are to women. There is a big difference between being safe and feeling safe. - Beings safe is you having a plan to deal with a threat coming at you. - Feeling safe is thinking you have nothing to fear. You can be safe yet feel like you are in constant danger: so again being safe and feeling safe are two different things.

This is the exact reason I don't enjoy the things that many do and take for granted. Like taking peaceful relaxing hikes or solo drives into the wilderness. im not completely through the episode but I just gotta say ive actually been in that dog walkers shoes. I was working security for a property that had a patch of grass and trees between some buildings. Homeless folks would make camp in it and behind the property. I was paid garbage wages but it was part of my job to scoot them along. I was generally respectful because its easier to be kind than to be an asshole. I worked at night there not soon after my shift started I did my first full check of the property. Noticed some bare feet sticking out from some bushes. it was cold so I was immediately concerned. called out and they didn't move. Walked closer and called out again. Flashed my flashlight but couldn't see into the bush, only the feet sticking out. I remember the panic I felt realizing what I might have walked in on. After what felt like an eternity of calling out (which was really all of 30 seconds probably) the bush rustled and a guy crawled out. He was really out of it and wandered off. Spanaway, WA is a wild place and that site was wild experience. That is not the only crazy story to come from that site in the 6 months I worked it.

Let's all remember to change the narrative on violence against women - ask men to be proactive in how they expect those around them to show respect for women, etc. instead of telling women to be careful about how and where they walk and dress. There's a longstanding toxic culture that needs work to be overcome. The focus should be on the disgusting behavior of the offender, not the women as "vulnerable victims." Thanks, Adrian- good job as always!

I am 60 years old, female and all my life I have always followed a few rules. One, always have enough money to get home, on you own if you have to. Even with a best friend, things can happen, I have always had the taxi fair home, now of course we have Uber drivers, they are cheaper too. Two, I have never, ever, walked anywhere of a night on my own. I see women do this all the time, walking along the street of a night. A big no, no ! Three, never, leave a drink unattended. When I was younger, single and going out to clubs, pubs etc, you could always leave your drink on the table when you went for a dance or the loo. I would never do that now, ever. Also now we have mobile phones, got to be a good thing. They can track signals from towers etc. like it or no, we live in a wicked society and there are some real grubs around. Make some rules, always stick to them and please God, always make it to your destination safely, Bless. 🥰🥰🇦🇺🇦🇺xoxox

I am sorry but I see so many things that could have been prevented: 1. The hotel should have called the police or the wife if they were making customers uncomfortable 2. Wife should have had this man in jail if he choked her before their divorce 3. The friends should have known something was up if their friend didn’t answer phone calls or reply to text messages
