Andrea Prospero I see what you mean, but I think you can celebrate the birthday on the day you find them and when they’re old enough to understand what happened you can tell them the real birthday and let THEM choose what day they want to celebrate it. There are TONS of true crime channels...and hardly anyone uses visuals. They just sit and talk to the camera. So many interesting cases I click off just bc I lose focus for a minute and I'm totally lost. With actual images and not just audio and a pretty face, you really absorbe the story. This is so scary. It reminded me of 14yrs ago when I was 8 months pregnant I was walking to my car after a college class and a man drove up and asked me my name and my phone #. I was scared and said I had a husband and was(obviously VERY) pregnant. He said it didn’t matter to him. I was walking fast and said no and he eventually drove off. I made it to my car and called my husband. After that my husband always drove me to class. I had forgotten about that till now. New mommies, soon to be new mommies, and everyone please be careful.

@@honey5623 Yeah I was going to say I'm sure she tried to run away. If you know you're in extreme danger, you aren't going to stay and try to talk it out. I was thinking she may of tied her down or threatened her with a gun. But getting the baby out of her while holding a gun doesnt seem as likely. I hope you're right - that she knocked her out cause that would mean she probably didn't feel the pain like she would of if she was awake.

It needs to be talked about. I had no idea until recently when I saw makeup of a Native woman and the reason she wanted to do the look. To raise awareness of just this. I feel like a lot of missing person cases and atrocities do not get media attention because of ethnicity. It blows my mind. Every person is just as important as the next person. Kendall Rae should definitely do a video about Native women missing with no media coverage in sight. It's so important to get a dialogue started in mainstream. I hope this so much in 2019.

I read that reservations have their own system of law enforcement and outside police forces aren't even allowed to investigate because the reservations consider them tribal matters. I know even off the reservations, the rates of missing/murdered indigenous are proportionately higher, but if what I read is true, then the reservations' police are disregarding them? I always assumed that the tribal police would investigate the crimes that happened on their land? So if that’s how it works then how are they being covered up? You’d think the tribal police would want to solve the crimes of their people... Edit: I’m not doubtful or trying of be offensive I’ve just always wondered how the jurisdiction worked and which agency would respond to my calls.

This is so heartbreaking ): It's crazy though...Me and Savanna were the same age. She was born August 9th 1995, and I was born August 18th 1995. Also crazy, our daughter's were both born in 2017! I remember hearing about this case as I was holding my 6 month old baby and just crying my eyes out ),: Savanna was absolutely stunning.

This happens a lot in Canada too. My grade 12 English teacher in high school was super passionate about raising awareness to this issue that we had a whole unit that lasted two months on indigenous history, the sad truth behind it all. We also did a project on missing and murdered indigenous women in Canada and I think more schools need to talk about this.

I saw a crime show on something exactly like this, apparently it's a new type of crime where pregnant women get kidnapped and have their babies removed. I cried so much watching that show. I can't believe anyone could be able to do such a despicable thing. I know it must have been difficult for you to talk about but you could potentially bring awareness of this to women who never could have imagined anything like this happening. The show I watched mentioned that the woman was lured in with promises of baby clothes. It's such an innocent and sweet gesture, a pregnant woman may not be aware of sinister intentions. Thank you for everything you do for people, the kindness you show and for raising awareness. 🌻

@@l.l.storrie3851 It's common knowledge to those who live out there in the Indian reservations. They live out there with the effects of what happens. So, you won't hear about it in the mainstream media. They are in the middle of nowhere. In all honesty, I don't know why this doesn't get more coverage. Actually, no one has spoken on it in a while. These cases of stolen babies ripped from the womb are not about because they “want a child but can’t have one". It’s because of a power dynamic and they like to watch mothers suffer and women suffer. Same reason why men commit rape. It’s not because they’re desperate for sex, it’s the love for the cries and suffering of innocent women.
