I think most people have no idea of the extent to which the royal family was and is ruled by protocol and how little control they have over their lives. They are maintained by the government and trotted out daily just for display. How fulfilling can that be? Their roles could be performed by well-dressed, well programmed mannequins and robots. At 19, Diana's hope and expectation was that she would be drawn in with affection and familial nurturing, that she would be in partnership with a supportive and understanding husband. I think that's what most 19-year-olds hope for. When the full realization of her brood mare status hit her, she was devastated, as any idealistic young woman would be, by the utter betrayal from all sides. I think she did amazingly well under the circumstances and I never thought she was as "troubled" and neurotic as many people, such as Penny Junor, claimed she was.

charles and his family are good at creating troubled people, then calling them crazy later on, which spurs the media to call them crazy also. they did it to diana and now her son and daughter in law are going through the same thing. that family is truly terrible.

She sure did. I would challenge anyone at that age to do better than she did

Yes, I still sob tears. Even in the current year, 2021. Just listen to Lynn Dawson sing Verdi’s “Requiem” at her funeral. You’ll need a box of Kleenex.

I can't believe it's been so long. I was having my 16th bday party with friends the night she passed away. I was devastated. She and her sons are beautiful people.

Diana's death shook THE WORLD. She and Mother Teresa were easily the two most beloved women on the planet at that time ...

LOL She was not rich till she got divorced from Charles, her family were in debt up to their necks. Do some research and you'll find only the tv & press coverage made her utterly inconsequential death a "national tragedy" they forgot to mention the dozens of men that she'd slept with during and after her marriage. This is a total whitewash of a flawed and deceptive woman.

The issues were Charles's as he brought his Mistress into his marriage with our beloved Princess Diana and thanks to Charles and his Mistress, we no longer have that beautiful Light that graced the world!
